Cheating a bit here with a DDY solo song, but here are two America based songs...

Suite Madame Blue vs. Black Wall

Suite Madame Blue for me..

Both powerhouse songs, but Suite Madame Blue is one of my all-time favorites. A timeless DeYoung classic. So my vote goes there.

Both wonderful songs, but I have to go with SMB.

I'm gonna go with Black Wall because I'm not anywhere near sick of it. Not that I'm sick of SMB, but I'm closer to it than I am with BW. And BW kicks ass.

I really like the live version of blk wall, much more so then any live version of SMB....especially any version in which DDY holds the note forever.......Im impressed he can do that, but it's at the expense of derailing the song.

So Studio versions I prefer SMB
But Live I prefer Black Wall
