God Rest Ye Metal Gentlemen
12th August 2008

By default Christmas albums are a risky proposition at the best of times, and most bands will avoid them like the plague. However, a new album entitled We Wish You A Metal Christmas may just change all that…

We Wish You A Metal Christmas, which is due to be released on 13 October, features such an amazing roster of hard rock talent that we guarantee that you’ll double-take at least once when you read through the tracks and people performing them.

How do you like Lemmy singing ‘Run Rudolph Run’, backed by Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top and Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters? What about Ronnie James Dio doing ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen’?

I laughed when I saw Tommy Shaw on that list....my favorite unusual Christmas album so far has to be Twisted Sister's "Twisted Christmas." My favorite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=De47fjH6RKY
