If Styx incorporated songs from the Wooden Nickel Years, what songs other than Lady do you think would hold up today?

My pick would be:

A day ( I actually think it would be interesting to see what Gowan would do with the instrumental portion of the song.....TS on vocals. )

Not sure if otheres would agree, but I'd also like to hear "Im gonna make you feel it", " You need liove" and "Young Man":

Is "You Need Liove" a rare gem?

I'd add Best Thing and Evil Eyes.

I always thought 'Young Man' and 'Golden Lark' were two of their best early songs.

I still like them both today.

The lyrics to Young Man will always stand the test of time, as does the song.

P.S. An album that you ought to give a second spin to now is 'Edge Of The Century'

It's A GREAT GREAT CD.

I listened to the entire CD last week and it's a CLASSIC!!!

I would like to hear Styx do "Young Man" with a slightly different arrangement.
Styx should definitely do "Southern Woman".

Believe it or not, I'd actually like to hear Dennis do "A Song For Suzanne"..

Some of those WN songs are taylor made for the current lineup. Nice rowdy ROK songs!

I'm Gonna Make You Feel It would SMOKE!

Also 22 Years, Rock N' Roll Feeling and Quick Is the Beat of My Heart.

Plus, Children of the Land would make a kller segueway to Everything All The Time.
“How did that sound?”

“Like Teddy Ruxbin hooked up to a car battery!”
