If he is elected it might be because of this fact, and it might also be his strongest asset.
I hope that I am 100% wrong, but I think he will be our next president. If he is, I hope that he can communicate on a global scale the way he has to his supporters & the independents here.

The Iraqi govt. wants us out of there by 2011 - let's do it. Mccain will try to keep us there, making us unwanted occupiers. Mccain will keep giving so much to the oil companies - his thing is deregulation and letting the rich get richer.
Then there's Palin - guys will vote or her just because they like the way she looks. GROW UP people - she has played so much of a power trip in Alaska (getting the guy who dropped her sister fired) and has wasted so much money on a pipeline that has not even been started yet. Mccain will die in a few years & there's no way in hell she can handle this country .
Obama has genuine intentions of getting the middle class back on its feet. If something happens to him at least Biden is much better qualified than Palin is.
When democrats were in office we had a budget surplus - Republicans got the White House & look where we're at now.

There go the old Dems talking points again...
To educate the ignorant...McCain's tax cuts affect ALL companies not just the oil companies. The way Obama and Biden sell it, is that the only companies getting tax cuts are the oil companies. This is blantantly a lie. But would do you expect out of those two? They've been lying nonstop for almost 2 years now (Obama).
Oh and by the way, the tax cuts going to business under the McCain plan are going to them because uhhhhh..... they employ the citizens of this country.

You are wrong & out of line. No matter what political party is running our country it is the GREATEST country in the world.
It is free and it is democratic. Anybody that is a citizen has a shot of making it here.
Are you a citizen? If so then you should be proud. If not, then you probably should get out.

you're not grown up enough to handle a gun....................

Well Darren,
Since you have such a grasp on our history in the US, thanks to our immigration system, you might want to look up the invasions of your homeland. Oh, I forgot, you barely could take back the Falklands from pitiful Argentina. The one thing we know in America is guns. We are proud of them and we know how to use them. Ask Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Iraq, and Cuba to name just a few. You tried the revocation once before and it didn't turn out so well. I seem to remember a British PM that was with us on this Terrible Iraq thing. What was his name? Blair wasn't it? Oh, by the way, it seems that quite a large number of Democrats like Gore, Kerry, Pelosi, etc were in favor of the war when it started. Hypocrisy knows no bounds.
DarrenUK wrote:
I was in favor of it when it started, and will be again when they find those WMDs ....... and barely taking back the Falklands from Argentina ...... lets look at that shall we ..... Argentina is 30 minute air time from the Falkland Islands, the Argentinians had superior airpower about 11-1 I think it was, we had aircraft off 2 carriers, our troops sailed 8000 miles and reclaimed the Islands from a force that had us outnumbered 5-1 and were well dug in.Heavily outnumbered British troops took back a British Island so to say it was pitiful strikes me as being history challanged.
Why did you mention Germany ?, I hope your not talking about WW2 as you sat on your arses and done nothing for 2 years whilst Germany conquered Europe, Blitzed Britain to rubble and murdered 3 million innocent Jews, you came into the war only after you were attacked by Japan...... if you had never been attacked you would all of carried on with your ho downs and done nothing. I notice you never included North Vietnam in your list ?
I remember storming Norman commander of the first Iraq war ( I agreed with that one too) saying that man for man there is not a better trained force than the British army, that coming from a 4 star American general should hold some sway .... I mean the British SAS trained American special forces ....Delta Force to be exact, I would bet any amount of money that if you sent 10 sas and any other 10 troops from any army in the world into an area the sas would be the only ones to come out alive........ I am glad your proud of your guns and for that I congratulate you ......... lets hope there are not many more Columbines.
