I don't understand why everyone is digressing from the main point of this thread, which is, Zan's avatar.

I feel like Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein when Madeline Kahn showed up at the castle. Except, my eyes don't bulge out quite so much..

Ever since I completed my sensitivity training course I dont think it's funny to make fun of Hooters girls.

Do they still redistribute waitresses tips??

I remember reading that Barack's wife was once a horrible waitress.

LOL...we can invade Iraq and find Saddam Hussein in a pigeon hole somewhere. We have state-of-the-art technology and the most powerful armed froces in the world, and we can't take care of a few Mexican druglords? Please.

That's because our so-called "war on drugs" is a joke. Problem is, the more you destroy fields of crops, the less supply, and consequently the higher the premium on the existing crop - thereby making the profit motive for trafficking even greater than it already is. These people don't care if they risk their lives, because their lives suck anyway. As long as those countries remain as poor as they are, where people have so few options to make any money because of having been born into such incredible disadvantage, this is going to seem like a viable option to some of them. If we legalized drugs and levied a tax on them like there is on cigarettes and booze, it would eliminate the criminal side of it, just like lifting Prohibition did with alcohol, and the taxes could be put to great use on some of the projects that currently require deficit spending. On top of that, we could re-apportion the billions being lost on failed prevention and put it toward drug education and rehabilitation, the net effect would be that the country as a collective would have LESS of a drug problem than it does now, as well as lots of additional money. Let's face it, half the country or more smokes pot - and in my generation and younger it's probably more than that. It's time to get rid of the antiquated drug policies that don't work anyway. Incidentally, I say that from the perspective of someone who doesn't like drugs and wouldn't start using them if they became legal tomorrow.

Sorry, I'm off on a tangent as is often the case, LOL. I hope all is well.

It's like a sickness, the way politics bleed into people's heads. I've heard some crazy shit in the last few months, and pretty much all of it is a gross exaggeration or an outright falsity. I can't wait for this election to be over.

If Barack loses it will be the GREATEST choke ever!!!!!!!

The money he is spending is unreal.

How about his 30 minute TV show tonight in prime time???

My wife was going to vote for him until he decided to do this. She is now in the undecided column.

My brother is still voting for Obama, but because of his TV show he is not going to fly to Ohio to vote a second time for him.

Who's taking off work next Tuesday????

Who is advising him??

If he loses, what a choke!!!!!!!!

To add to all of this insanity are these polls. Bear in mind, the same people who are producing these polls told you that Al Gore captured Florida in 2000. Then it was George Bush. Then it was to close to call. All based on exit polls. We are all tired of this process, and are ready for it to end. Do yourself a favor, and cast your vote prior to turning on the TV on election night.

c'mon man, don't do that. I don't want her to change her avatar because of you perverts out there. Ignore them Zan.

And I'd like to add that the other female members of this board should follow Zan's example and be brave enough to post astonishing photos of themselves.

That's funny, but it also makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. For the last couple of days I've seen media speculation that Palin might consider running for President in 2012. The very notion makes me want to drive my car into a bridge abutment. Palin as President?! To hell with that. I'd rather have rabid weasels rip the very flesh from my bones.

She'll make a much better President than Hussein.

If he wins, let's see what the country is like this time in 4 years.

Here is a good question I was asked at work one day.

What do you think will happen if Obama is elected and is assassinated a few weeks or months after he is in office?

Without thinking, my first response was something about Biden being President. The person that asked me the question told me "if you thought the Rodney King Riots were bad, you havn't seen anything yet.."

I am still partial to this T.S.Eliot stanza when I think what "might" happen with Obama.

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.
