Just because I am so blasted sick of it, I have to go with Snowblind.

Talk about a song that has been milked for 27 years when in 1981 it barely was on the radar (peaking at #27 or something on the ROCK charts)...

Eddie.

And yeah... the day pass album was horrendous. I'll never understand how someone could be THAT ignorant of their own voice. Ugh. The Toys for Boys was really bad....
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I have to pretty much agree with the whole "entire Out on a Day Pass" album. Weak vocals aside, not very interesting musically, and some of the worst lyrics written since Helen Keller took a whack at it...

"Miss America" live has become somewhat of an oddity for me.. It's almost so bad that I look forward to hearing it.. :?
Don't get me wrong, I think the studio version is great, but the way J.Y. screeches that chorus live.. I have to wonder if the other guys in the band have been afraid to tell him over the years; surely Dennis would have, lol. Maybe J.Y. knows it's rough, but just doesn't care? Maybe they all look at it as an AC/DC, Type 0 Negative kinda deal. :P

Worst J.Y. song? Hmm.. I've never been crazy about "I'm Gonna Make You Feel It", but that's actually a Dennis penned song. I guess a couple of the songs on the first album as well, but he didn't write the majority of those, either.

As far as a song that he actually wrote, or had a hand in writing, I'd have to go with either "A Man Like Me"(I hate to say that given the current situation), "Rock and Roll Feeling", "Eddie", or "Home Wrecker". I don't really think "Home Wrecker" is bad, as much as it just doesn't really standout.

Well, screw y'all. I *love* "Miss America" live. It's one of the most energetic songs of the show, and i think it's dandy. So there.

At the Pompano show this weekend, they played "Snowblind," which I have not heard in a good while. It wasn't the longest set I've ever witnessed, but it was 15 songs, plus the "North vs. South" dueling guitar solo before "renegade," which was a solid five minutes and oh-so-kick-ass. I think the show was close to 2 hours long, which made me ecstatic. we had a good view of the set list, and I kept referring to it to see how much longer my fun would last. ;-)
