And you believe Shaw?
I don't
Dennis has been ready to return for 8 years
Why is he not in the band?
They dumped him and never looked back
YES knows Jon is a vital member and they released a press statement saying just that,
Jon will be back in Yes in 2009 that is the only reason I went.
StyxCollector wrote:Er, when did I say I believed TS? Get your head out of your ass. I have no issues with Dennis (and have encountered him more than once in these past eight years; we get along just fine. In fact, when I was talking to him before Hunchback I really didn't bring up Styx; he happened to in the course of things.). I'm the one who was accused way back when of being his voice through that one interview and took a lot of shit for it. Yeah, I really take sides considering I've supported both sides AND their side projects since 1999.
After 8 years, Dennis has come to terms with what it is. Why can't you? Even TS has been fairly complimentary. There seems to really be only one holdout at this point in terms of rancor.

Er, when did I say I believed TS?
I view this Yes tour as a way for them to find out whether fans will accept a new singer in Jon's place, so they can decide how they're going to move forward.
Just like Tommy used to say, at first, that Dennis would return when he got better, and then they gradually changed positions in response to the fact that the Gowan shows were pulling well enough for the band to continue its career.

If you didnt believe him why did you bring that up?
Its obvious that they said that he was going to return just to smooth it over.
They never had plans for Dennis to come back.
I truly believe Yes will have Jon back.
The guy almost died a few months ago.
It has been 4 years since Yes toured Styx was what 1 year 2 at the most and they had to run out and do 9000 shows.
I see this as a warm up set of shows for YES and Jon will be back in the summer of 2009.
