i'll comment on a couple of differnt things here;

1) i agree that currently while it is not what I personally want that it makes sense for dennis and styx to not be together. I think primarily because dennis wants to do what he wants when he wants which is certinaly his right. I dont think styx wants to sit by and play 40-50 shows per year and then wait while dennis pursues theatre. i think they want to play all the time even the rib fests etc.....their schedule over the last 8 years clearly proves that.

2) someone said I already saw dennis with styx and what woudl it get me now? for me, i would love to see them together again. i think it would rate them higher in the eyes of promoters.....they would probably be able to headline larger places again in certain markets and they certainly would be given higher status in package tours again.

3) i do think that time is sort of running out for them to reunite again. however, i think that if they do reunite it will be for one last 50 city tour like the '96 reunion. i dont know any of the guys so i am just speculating but in certain interviews especailly with dennis i think you can tell that they feel there is still some unfinished business so to speak. i know JY comes across all hateful and gruff about it all but i really beleive that if tommy and dennis said let's do it that JY would be all over it.....he may have to travel seperately and stay away from dennis but i think there is enough ego there from all of them to say "come on, let's do this one more time to show everybody that we still got, never lost it and can rock with anybody".
