There was a documentary I saw years ago which had snippets of some club date with video of TS doing some solo stuff that wound up on GWG but with John and Chuck I believe. It wasn't full songs. Most of GWG was started in the UK as far as I know.

Actually, I saw Dennis at a RibFest in ST. Louis 2 years ago. Even after an hour downpour, there was still easily 5000 people there with ten thousand more that would have been there if it hadn't rained.

The Ribfests, Toad Suck Days, etc. are just the sponsoring group that brings in entertainment to help increase the number of attendees. Some of these events cater to tens of thousands of people. That is why they are booked. I don't actually frequent Ribfests any more than I do other events or venues, but I did go to see Dennis and I am sure the RibFest promoter was happy I did. Venues are different than twenty five years ago, they are just noted by their corporate sponsor.
