Don't be surprised if Cheap Trick is the one that blows both of these bands out of the water night in and night out..

Haven't seen "Poison" in a while, but I can tell you that "Def Leppard" was a disappointment back in '07. I was really looking forward to seeing them, too. I think I last saw "Poison" in '99; they put on a good show, but that was ten years ago now(holy crap, lol).

I saw Poison last year (with Dokken & Sebastian Bach). They still put on a pretty good show worth seeing.

They weren't as good as Heart or Journey last year. They were the opening act for a reason on that tour. Although this tour may be different.

I saw Def Leppard with Styx & Foreigner a couple of years back. Def Leppard was unspeakably fantastic - the way they position the huge video screens - you feel like you're inside the video - it's great. Foreigner was very good also, even with the new lead singer.

The people trying to call themselves Styx were the worst - "Blue Collar Man" was sung way too slowly, Miss America was ok, but not much power in it like JY used to give. The little dancing, spinning leprechaun they had on stage didn't help things either - he was just irritatingly annoying - especially when he tried singing any of the old Styx stuff.

Well I saw the Def Lep and Styx tour last October and have to say that Def Leppard stunk the joint out..

They seemed tired, their sound guy ruined the mix (when it sounded better in the lounge of the venue instead in the area, you've got problems) and it just seemed like they were going through the motions.

I talked to fans in Vancouver, Calgary and Saskatoon and they all pretty much said the same thing.

This is a band that needs to take a year or two off from North America and recharge!
