Jenny Douglas-McRae - under rated?

Postby Vladan » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:10 pm

Jenny Douglas-McRae in the band from (1988 - 1997)

Listening to Absolutely Live, and I believe Jenny tears it up! best lead they had for sure, and I really like the others, but she just takes it to another level in Home Of The Brave, just wow.

Yeah, she is great and pretty underrated. But what about Jacci McGhee? She is miles ahead of Jenny Douglas in power and she's pretty damn hot as well. Check out English Eyes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GspOC33xTxw

Jenny's husband, what's-his-name, is good too. You do mean the Home of the brave from the Seoul concert right? You should check out Hold the Line from the same concert, or Hold the Line from Live in Paris - she tears Byron a new hole on that one.

It doesn't sound right having a woman sing lead on the songs, sorry. Great singers, but not what I want to hear on Toto material

I gotta agree with you man, but if Kimball wouldn't have hopped on onto the Cocain Train, he would never have gotten kicked out of Toto to begin with. But then again, if he wouldn't had been driving the cocain train down to the cocain station, we wouldn't get to experience Animal and most likely Mushanga. Mushanga at least, is Toto's best song. Ever.

On a side not: I would love to lift up Jenny Douglas' skirt in that English Eyes vid.

Both back-up singers were great.
Even with Bobby back, they had Spinner do some vox.
They should've just kept Jenny.

That was Donna McDaniels on AL/hotb, I think.
