She's David Letterman's favorite guest. She sort of got her talk show as a result of her many appearances there and her sharp-witted take on things. I hope she interviews Dennis because that might be some fun interaction.

You should be able follow this link and click on your media market and find time and channel. No, its not Regis and Kelly or Oprah, but it does look like it has national coverage.

100 years CD

Postby cittadeeno23 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 2:37 am

If this were 1985, how many top 40 hits do you think would be on this album??

I think there could at least be 2 or 3. There are several pop-radio-friendly songs on this album.

Ah, but if this was 1985, A&M probably would have been his label, so their might have been 1 big hit, then A&M would have probably released two more then dropped any promotion within two months of its release..

Look at what happened with Desert Moon..

Bonnie Hunt comes on in the afternoons here in Balto on a major network. I watched the show several times while I was looking fo a job. It's a good talk show. It's on the light side rather than an Oprah or Dr. Phil. :)

I believe there is a note on Dennis' site indicating he is going to be on the show on the 14th and not the 10th.

"This Time Next Year" would probably be the big hit single if this were 1985.. Then again, look at how well songs like "This Is The Time" performed.. #93!

Honestly, I don't entirely see why "Crossing The Rubicon" couldn't get some attention from mainstream rock stations(meaning the ones that play old and new). I might be being too much an optimist, but.. I think, hands down, it's the best song on the album, but I do wish it had a slightly harder edge; it would probably have a better chance of getting airplay that way, too. I don't think a/c radio would pay a bit of attention to songs like "Save Me" or "I Believe In You". "Save Me" might have had a chance in the early '90s, but it is so sugary sweet..
