Yes, just like many others have done including DDY.

I know, right? I didn't hear anyone complaining when "Ten on Broadway" came out - just a lot of ass-kissing "oh, he sounds so great," blah blah. (which he did, but so not the point)

Several other CDs that came out on the 14th are now on the chart but 100 years from now is nowhere to be found on the chart. I’m in total shock!! Maybe he’ll have better luck with his next CD.

Could also use some help with the wording of the email.

Hey idiot.
BBT theory was in the top 200 for exactly one week. Why? Because for some reason the Today show had nothing else better to do and put Styx on to plug that album for a Friday concert series one Friday. (Evidently the puppeteer got sick or something). Anyway, the next week...GONE! If you look up BBT's total sales, I believe it is less than 30,000 copies sold period.
Just shows you what one blast of publicity on a major show can do for 1 week for an album. I have the feeling that Rounder's strategy is not about getting a one time hit. It is more about a slow burn (to use a phrase from RTP). In other words a more steady stream of promotion vs. one big hit. That was their strategy with Robert Plant and Allison Krauss too.
But I love how you show glee in the fact that it wasn't in the top 200. Shows what an a$$hole you are. But that being said, it would help Styx if 100 years does do well. Puts more light and attention on the band as a whole. But I guess your too dense to realize that.

Now now...you knew the thread was going to goad certain individuals. The one upmanship remains rampant here. Just saying...
