O/T Great new or old albums your listening to by any band ?

Cant stop playing these at the moment .... reccommended music

JIMI JAMISON ...... CROSSROADS MOMENT, absolutely brilliant polished AOR
LOVERBOY .... JUST GETTING STARTED , Best release of 2007 in my opinion.
MITCH MALLOY .... DEBUT RELEASE , Even tho it is back from the 90s I have just started playing this again and it is great.
DARE .... OUT OF THE SILENCE, One of the best AOR albums ever, not 1 song is a filler.
JOHN WETTON .... BATTLELINES, What a voice

Totally agree with the Loverboy and Jimi Jamison picks. Some other great recent works:

Todd Rundgren - Arena, ANGRY guitar-driven hard rock and a complete about-face from the electronica-laden (but good) "Liars."

Burton Cummings (of Guess Who fame) - Above The Ground - Fuckin stellar, 19 killer songs, a making of the album DVD that's as in-depth as I've ever seen, great production, and a varied sound throughout the album

DDY - 100 Years - The addition of Private Jones pushed an already good album to great for me

Steve Lukather - Ever Changing Times - Great stuff from Luke as expected

I have been hitting the Youtube videos in the morning, some from the Midnight Special. I love the Baby's Everytime I think of You. A few other persistant downloads that drive the little ones crazy in the morning include: Bob Welch - Sentimental Lady, Art Garfunkle - So in Love, Spiral Staircase - More today than yesterday, The Left Banke - Walk Away Ranee, Green Day - The Time of Your Life, Four Non Blondes - Whats Up, etc.

Just got 100 years from Now, so trying to give that a spin. Others as of late on the car ride in: The Guess Who Greatest Hits, Steely Dan Can't buy a thrill and Boz Scaggs Hits.

I gotta add that the one Styx CD that makes it to my changer in my vehicle often (the only place I ever listen to CD's) is "Equinox." I just do not get tired of this album. I still think it is the best Styx album ever.

You can laugh if you want........Ive been listening to th AM Rock 70's collection from my local library. Having the remote available to skip tracks is essential, but out of an average of 20 songs per disc/year theres between 8 and 12 pretty good songs.

Skipping such tracks as "convoy" "billy dont be a hero" "disco inferno" etc.....

Some folks here got me interested in Porcupine Tree awhile back, so the three CD's of theirs I have go into my changer fairly often. I like that mix of melodic and crunch. (Deadwing, Fear of a Black Planet, and In Absentia).
