Hated the new arrangements they're doing with just about every song. Just don't think this is the time to go screwing around with the classics, since they've got so much attention now with Revelation/Arnel.

I am not surprised with your comment....you just want to spoil the fun.

I didn't catch the interview but I'd like to know what the interviewer asked to get that response from the band?

They were just talkin bout past tours, and The old 'Monsters of Rock' (which the festival used to be called). Schon cocked up too by saying about that they go to Paris next and they haven't played there since 1986 when they supported Pat Travers. He realised he was 10 yrs out as it was 76. Pretty funny stuff. Old age i suppose lol

If it's the same interview I saw, they asked why Journey hadn't been touring the UK before now, and the response was that Perry didn't want to go to the U.K.

To be fair, he did come here once with them. Late 70's.

And I think it was the punk scene etc which put him off coming here again during that era.
But why they didn't come here with ROR I don't know.

I love his voice and everything but I am still annoyed with him for never returning.

I just watched it again, and the question was, "Will you be doing an extended tour of the U.K." Schon & Cain responded that (paraphrasing) they're going to be over there for a month, but aren't going to be able to play all the countries they want to go to, so hopefully in the future we can do that. We haven't been here in a couple of years and weren't able to tour the U.K. previously because "Steve Perry didn't want to come here, for whatever reason."

Thanks for the link. A lot of great remarks. I read on there too where someone said heads should roll for the piano mix. So there must have been a problem like was mentioned on here.

I think they just saw the webcast like we did. I am fairly sure the crowd could hear the piano.

Just watched DSB and I have several observations:

-Ross's bass sounded like he was in fucking Korn.

-Um, where was the piano for the first half of the song?

-Some of Arnel's old problems with adding "ah" to the end of words seems to have resurfaced.

-The crowd seemed very into it until that silly improv garbage at the end. Then they seemed lost.

-I can't wait to see Separate Ways because I bet it brought the fucking house down.
