OT: Geoff Tate interview now playing at We Will Rock You

Postby Rockwriter » Thu Jun 18, 2009 6:09 am

Hi:

Wanted to let everyone know that my first feature podcast for We Will Rock You, the interview with Geoff Tate from Queensryche, is now playing at www.wewillrockyoublog.com

Thanks to everyone who sent questions. Several of them wound up being a major part of the interview. I tried to get to as many as I could.

I hope you enjoy this interview, and please stay tuned for more great guests coming soon, including Todd and Lawrence from Styx.

Thanks, I hope all is well.

Hi Sterling.

I'm getting no sound out of the clip. Is it just me?

Hmmmm . . . I've played it in three different computers and all seems fine. Do you maybe need to turn your sound up a bit? If you can't get the player to interface you can click on the blue link that says "Listen to the interview" and download it and play it that way as well.

Thanks, I hope that helps!

That sucks . . . but at least it's not my fault, LOL. I was afraid there for a sec. I'm not Mr. Technical, and I had a few failures before finally succeeding at getting the sound clip to play in that link, so when you said it wouldn't I felt sure I had done something wrong. Whew!

Sorry about your sound not working, though.

Sound is back on now! Believe it or not, the problem was as simple as me forgetting that my USB headset was still plugged in after an interview that I did, and the sound was all going through that. Luckily it didn't take me long to figure out that it was my own mistake responsible for the lack of sound.

Hope I didn't scare you too badly! I know that feeling from having a site of my own.
