If someone was an ass while they lived then they are probably an ass when they died. Now that he is dead however it is meaningless. MJ had a huge and positive impact in the lives of MANY. Honestly I could care less what is said about him however the people that do care and want to talk about it deserve that without having to wade through the negative stuff. Some are grieving about it. I cant understand that but as a logical human being I understand what is proper in those situations. Have some class in otherwords.

Michael Jackson was an icon of the 80s and it makes me realize how much time has passed to hear that MJ was 50 and died of a heart attack. What a strange coincidence - I just bought the CD 'Thriller' last week. I wasn't a fan, but there were some great songs on it that are part of the soundtrack of my youth.

To those who keep making accusations, they should consider that there is a difference between being weird or suffering mental problems and being guilty and the speculations of what he "might" have done or how many he "might" have paid off are ridiculous. He was 50 years old and if he were predisposed to that type of behaviour, probability states that he would have numerous victims who are now adults and some would have spoken out, money be damned.

He had two accusers on record and both were demonstrated to be motivated by a monetary settlement - the last one had a mother who was a career con who set up "accidents" or altercations at stores and sued, until she got caught for fraud. And she used her son in her scams - I saw part of their testimony on TV and it wasn't even a challenge for MJ's lawyer to trip up the different stories they had given. Many of you are parents and I am sure that if someone molested one of your children, no amount of money would make you turn a blind eye and keep quiet, but not one parent of any of the numerous victims some of you are alleging MJ to have ever fought for their child? What are the odds of that? I believe in severe justice against child molesters, but I also believe there should be solid proof beyond reasonable doubt.

I believe he was a deeply scarred human being with questionable judgment, but unless someone has more evidence than "maybes" or credible witnesses come forward, I'm not joining the hanging party. Perhaps now that he is gone, more people who truly knew him will feel free to speak openly and we may know more of who he really was. Lisa Marie Presley once said he was nothing like his public persona. I was sad to see the MJ of the 80s turn into the character he became later in life, but I'm going to choose to remember him as he was in his glory days.

Michael Jackson's doctor has vanished after the singer's family revealed he was given an injection of painkiller shortly before he collapsed and died. Jackson's relatives told website TMZ.com, who first broke the news of his death last night, that he was given the pain-killing drug Demerol at his home in Los Angeles. A close member of the family said he had been having daily injections of the synthetic drug, which is similar to morphine, and was given a shot at 11.30am yesterday. Less than an hour later, at 12.21pm, a 911 call was made from his Beverly Hills home raising the alarm and paramedics were told he was not breathing.

A police source cited by TMZ alleged it was Jackson's private doctor Dr Tohme Tohme who administered the drug. He is now said to have vanished.

His BMW was towed from outside the singer's LA home last night and police are looking for him so that they can quiz him about Jackson's final hours, the website said.

It always has amazed me. Like Cher used to fucking hate Sonny's guts to the core while he was alive. But right after he died, she was up there talking about how wonderful he was and all. MJ made millions for the tabloids while he was alive. Imagine how much business was made all the hundreds of thousands of times the National Inquirer had a front page story about this MJ. Now I wonder what the tabloids will say about him now that he's dead. Usually they seem to say nice things about people once they die and run full page color pictures of the "happier" times in the person's life, much like everyone else does. My prediction: The tabloids who fucked with him the most will be the ones who run the biggest articles and pictures of the "happier" times in MJ life. They'll talk about how swell he was and all.
