I think the other one is more distinctive 'cause they trade off vocals. This one is a little repetitious. Thanks for linking both though.

The way he moonwalks in sync to the music like it's natural is just unbelievable. He loses his breath a few times while singing but who wouldn't?

You did not get cheated at his shows, that's for sure.

Here's some interesting information about State of Shock:

"State of Shock" is a 1984 hit single by The Jacksons featuring frontman Michael Jackson and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

"State of Shock" was the biggest hit from The Jacksons' Victory album, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 4 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart. A recording of the song by Michael Jackson with Freddie Mercury of Queen exists as very rare bootlegs. The song is written by Jackson and guitarist Randy Hansen. The final song featured lead vocals by Michael Jackson and Jagger. "State of Shock" was the last top ten hit for The Jacksons, as well as their last single to be certified gold. The song was later revised by Jagger when he performed it with Tina Turner during their legendary 1985 performance at Live Aid.

It was featured in "Hooked on Polkas" on "Weird Al" Yankovic's Dare to be Stupid album. Also, "State of Shock"'s style was used for the song "UHF".

The song was originally recorded with Freddie Mercury as Michael and Freddie had been working on several tracks at that time ('81-'83). (e.g. the unreleased title track "Victory" for the eponymous album and "There Must Be More to Life Than This"). A digitally remastered demo (4:44) has surfaced on the internet.

There's also an Extended Dance Mix (5:41) - also digitally remastered available - with features an a cappella passage at the end of the song (when the song reaches its climax).

It's been at least 25 years since I've heard this song. Probably saw it on MTV once as I didn't own any of the J5 albums.

Very cool vid, especially for the time. They were doing this stuff while Journey was hanging out in shipyards playing air guitar.

Just keepin' you straight, Jim. I only knew it b/c when it came out in the late 90s I was really into Babyface. It sounded like a Babyface song to me when I heard it. And sure enough it was; he wrote it.
