Who said anything about democracy? I'm not asking for a position in government; I'm asking for a benevolent dictator instead of a tyrant.

That's an odd thought. The idea of someone doing whatever the hell they want simply because they pay for the bandwidth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Andrew should be anything less than the Supreme Grand Poobah of these forums, but I had a reasonable expectation of objectivity.

I don't mind debating; I
love debating. Flaming isn't debating.

I wasn't banking on Andrew's involvement, which is why I handled the issues myself. But if he's not going to defend everyone or at least make an attempt to do it, why come to the aid of a select few?

I'm not expecting that. The problem (for Andrew) is that I'm not afraid of him and I'm fine with being banned. I've been banned before. And when he indulges in selectively punishing those whom he simply doesn't like, when he allows comments to be made about everyone minus criticisms of Jeff Scott Soto, and most especially when he hurls insults at
me, I give them back in my own special way.
If Andrew's really who he says he is and pretends to be, then he'll recognize what he's done wrong and move on from there.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, by the way. I don't think Andrew's pure evil or anything remotely close. But he ostracizes ScarabGator for flirting, meanwhile allowing Deano to make crude comments ad infinitum. He tells Dan, Tito, and myself to shut up on a regular basis, and doesn't bother giving us reasons other than he doesn't like me and that Tito and Dan "have an agenda!" And he lets certain individuals run rampant while lashing out at anyone else for the smallest transgression.
That's not fair, that's not impartial. Not objective. Three things a good leader -- from the leader of a nation to a forum administrator -- should be.
Predictably, I'll be punished for this, mocked some more. That's fine. I can handle sarcasm and WTF gives me the means to retaliate. But it doesn't make my criticisms any less valid. The fact that Andrew is so sensitive about this means I've struck a resonant chord.
