Fantasy tours

Postby cittadeeno23 » Fri Aug 14, 2009 3:38 am

Well, if it's a fantasy, how about 2 reunions that are never going to happen?

Styx with Dennis / Van Halen with Sammy. My 2 favorite bands. And Queensryche can open the show.

Talk about a friggin fantasy!

Daltrey and Townsend still tour as the Who, so wht not pair them with Rog and the Floyd, then at the end of the show they can all be on stage for a song ( ala Styx/Reo )

of course, for that song, they'd need to be reintroduced as..........

Pink Who ?  8)

Toto(Paich has got to be back)/Styx(DDY)

Guns N Roses(with Slash)/Van Halen(Diamond)

I've seen Aerosmith and the Eagles, and while I'm a fan of both, I wasn't impressed with either's shows. I might have just caught Tyler on a bad night, but I think the Eagles are kinda known for being a yawn in concert.

Here's one that's gonna get me kicked off the board..

Bread/America..

I don't know much about Bread, but I saw America a few years ago at a live TV taping at The Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville and it was freaking awesome! They sounded way better than they ever did in their live shows back in their prime. Not everybody's cup of tea, but for me, a great body of pop songwriting.
