An old friend of mine covers Styx like you've never heard!!!

I have to say, I have a guy I was friends with when I was 17, 18 years old. He recorded a studio album, and I thought he was the SHIT!!! He was the only musician I personally knew that had done so, and I still have that cd today! I just happened to type his name in on myspace, and found out that he's still playing. not just that, but he's done an AMAZING job on some Foreigner and Styx songs!

It's SO cool to hear him after all of these years, and I'm going to send him a friend reguest tonight.

He sounds great! Very strong voice. I get a kinda Geoff Tate-y feeling about him. But without the drama. Very nice. I work with a lot of musicians down here, and it's hard to find a guy that can really sing well. I wish we had more like him around.
