Here is my first post:

SherriBerry wrote:I'm a Newbie who only found the site a few weeks ago, and have been spending waaay too much time enjoying the posts ever since!

After my brother told me about Arnel and the new cd, it sparked my interest in finding out why Steve Perry had left Journey in the first place. After a few searches, I Googled Herbie Herbert and found Andrew's interview - whoa!

Thanks guys - I've always loved the classic Journey lineup, but stopped listening when Steve Perry left. I missed out on a lot of great music, including Neal Schon's solo work, but I'm making up for lost time.

I researched quite a few threads and lurked for awhile before I started posting and I remember my main apprehension before I started posting anything back then was that this Rockindeano character would rip me a new one in classic style!

Don't listen to him peeps. He's still glowing over a late night tryst with Perez Hilton.

here's the best(quickest) way to find it:

Click on your screen name(when it is blue in color), click on 'find all posts by......', then click on the last page. Easy, peasy, japaneasy....

I was an ass wasn't I?! I think it's funny now, because at first I was getting hazed all over the place for no reason and I was like are these people serious? I'll give them a taste of their own medicine. But I kept coming back and back and back and I got to know some great people and also the online personalities that I never met in person and realized it's all fun and it IS as dysfunctional as you say it is! If I would of known then how this place worked I would of been laughing right along like we all do now. But YES! I was being an ass on purpose and still apologize because it was stupid, immature, and is not the person I really am. I still feel bad for it because the people I butted heads with I am good friends with them now. :x

No kidding. I can't find the post, (might have been a deleted thread, not sure) but I know it was right at the beginning - I had the nerve to blast one of the heavy hitters coming right out the gate. Had no idea what I was doing at the time, but now I think it's hilarious. I don't remember which if the two it was, but it was either Dean or Dan**. And somehow I never got attacked back or thrown into the loon asylum (it was an argument about Perry that I saw going on, and brand newbie BJG just marched right into the middle of it and let fly all over one of the two of them  ... and I'm still here  )

**edit: nevermind, found it. it was Froy. ahhhh, memories.
for some reason I was thinking I was yelling at Dean.

To be honest, I had NO IDEA who everyone was in Vegas. I thought BJG was Rhiannon and Rhiannon was Gayle, and Mellisa was you, and you were someone else I can't think of at the moment and I was just all messed up lmao. The only person I knew for sure was Deano and Dan. I remember telling my brother T-Time about this place and we should fly out to Vegas and go to the get together. He was hesitant but I told him to read on here and he pulled the trigger and we came for the trip since we made shirts for Neal and Arnel. I must say, when I saw Dan I was shocked. I pictured him as an obese biker dude, with a long ass beard who stomped around everywhere. Deano was cool as well and we ALL hit it off right from the get-go like we all knew each other for years. Never skipped a beat. I didn't meet Behshad, Stu and Kim until Cleveland and they were fun right from the get go as well. Was a pretty cool experience and I'm glad I made the trips.

Oh good! Now we know it was MELISSA who did that "thing" when she was drunk then. I KNEW it wasn't me!!

Hey, that's my birthday... I KNEW there was something special about that day!  Just messing with you B. Here's MY first post and GUESS WHAT IT WAS??? Me pimping myself out like a 2 dollar HO!

Here it is...

Hey guys, this is my 1st post. I am a keyboardist/songwriter and a long time Journey fan! I am just wondering what you guys(and gals) would think about a new album in the vein of Journey? I have written a lot of stuff in the last couple of years that is definitely influenced by Journey, but I'm just curious if you think there might be a market for it? I know that Clear Channel radio has this country on lock-down against any 80's sounding music, but I'd just like to hear some feedback from other fans. Thanks!

It's nice to see that some things never change!!!

"Intoxicated" is putting it SO mildly for what was going on when I came into that bar. I was checking in at the front desk and could hear a bunch of you singing "Like A Sunshower" louder than hell. And I still have the message with all the boys singing AWYWI into my voicemail.

The other thing that still cracks me up is that I had never met Dan either, but he totally pissed me off on the board the week before, so I think about the 2nd thing I said to him was "You owe me a drink, fucker!"

"Intoxicated" is putting it SO mildly for what was going on when I came into that bar.

The other thing that still cracks me up is that I had never met Dan either, but he totally pissed me off on the board the week before, so I think about the 2nd thing I said to him was "You owe me a drink, fucker!"

I'm sure Dan was happy to oblige

I wasn't even at the Vegas thing. I didn't meet you until Cleveland. But I'll never forget that! You guys were all loaded by the time we rolled into town at 12:30 am, and you spent about an hour calling me "bluesssheanngrrrl" because you had very little speaking ability left.

Oh I know I didn't meet you until Cleveland but I still thought Rhiannon was you lmao. But yes, all I remember is you walking in and we were absolutely finished. 'Bluejeangirl" is VERY hard to say when intoxicated. 8)
