Nothing Ever Goes As Planned

They really ought to put this in the setlist. Gowan would bring it to a new level of musical euphoria. Same with Queen of Spades.

So are Come Sail Away and Suite Madame Blue, but Gowan has made them 10x more exciting to listen to.

Suite Madam Blue is one of my favorite songs with Dennis, a masterpiece vocally by him, but Gowan is fantastic on it, too, with the band.

Oh my  You are entitled to your opinion on this, but.......

Let me just say, as I have before, I wish they would take every DDY-sung song OUT of their setlist. Including CSA and most definitely SMB. But I know this will never happen, especially with CSA. This is just way high up on my wish list for this current touring band.

Then they wouldin't have anything else to put in their set. Take out all of dennis' songs and you've got a very limited selection.

I've always enjoyed Gowan on "Queen of Spades," myself.

Can live without him doing "Best of Times" though. lol

Yeah, why should he sing Dennis's garbage?
Nothing Ever Goes As Planned STINKS.
Maybe they could do "Hip Hop Hypocrasy" and drive the audience to take their own lives?
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

They are not going to do any of the saxaphone songs! Who's gonna play the sax??????

And yes, People are entitled to their own opinion, but Gowen made come sail away and SMB more exciting to listen too?

Wow! I'm gonna have to disagree on that one!

Your opinion. And there's no need for names. I think it's below Styx standards along with First Time, She Cares, many JY songs. Nothing Ever Goes As Planned wasn't great. Styx isn't a reggae band. I can remember seeing that show with a limbo thing on stage. It was ridiculous. If I held up all the great Styx or Dennis songs, that one wouldn't be there.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

"Nothing Ever Goes As Planned" is good, and kind of a better way of expressing the sentiment of "Why Me". Live? Well, it doesn't make too much sense for them to do such a backwoods DDY track live. I hardly think they are going to dust off a Dennis song they don't have to at this point, but would I like to hear it? Yeah- from either camp. It reminds me somewhat of "More Love For The Money". Did they let Gowan do that one on tour?

Yes they did. I would rather hear that then walrus. But then again they really should pull queen of spades out of the cobwebs.

Larry does that song justice! Larry seems to work better on that type of Dennis song.
