REM is a lot more than a one hit wonder. They are an amazing band who have put out several great albums.

The only song I like is
Losing My Religion thats a great song

After that its down hill for me.

Agree on some of these, Froy, but not all. REM = Innovative, original and melodic music. There are great songs to be found on all their albums.

2. Bruce Springsteen..no melody and lousy singer
3. Jimmy Buffett..have to be drunk or high to appreciate
4. Coldplay..every song sounds the same
5. Rolling Stones..I don't get what anyone sees in this band
6. The Ramones..it's obvious
7. Evanecence..every song sounds the same..Amy Lee's style drives a nail in head
8. The Bangles....Junior High Level players
9. The Sex Pistols...obvious here too
10.Phil Collins....the guy just plain can't sing

Metallica, Guns & Roses & Nirvana are ALL GREAT, EPIC bands with powerful front men.

Bon Jovi was the epic band of the 80's and are still relevant today.

I like Creed and Dream On is one of the GREATEST singles EVER. Not a big Aerosmith fan but I love Dream On.

I don't agree with Aerosmith.
Bon Jovi sometimes offers glimmers of hope, but then they ruin themselves with the most cliche' lyrics. Sambora's great though.

The rest I agree with.
REM is especially bad.

RHCP- Good players, HORRIBLE singer.

GNR- Too bad Axel's a freakin idiot.

Grateful Dead- I'm with ya. Not a good song out of the bunch.

Springsteen- NEVER EVER got this guy.

Jimmy Buffet- eh...no opinion.

Nivanna- I don't get why this band was so huge. I DO like a few of their hits (NOT teen spirit) but they just seemed to repeat the same song over and over (start slow with a bass riff, get fast, get screamy, go slow again, guitar solo with feedback.)

Creed- their singer is a such a creep that I won't listen to them.

That made them horrific
The first cd was great after that crap

I don't agree. Permanent Vacation, Pump, Get a Grip, and 9 Lives were great CDs.
