That's because the EPA is still largely staffed by Bush appointees.

Source please?

I am going to keep asking until you post something with a source.

Otherwise it's just your opinion, which like mine, we know what slant it will have on it.

Yours: It's all Bush's fault.

Mine: Let take a conservative look at things!

Yeah, but she did name a New Jersey rest stop after Howard Stern. She can't be all that bad.

It's not in India's economic best interests to regulate their catastrophic emissions. I see right through this excuse.

I know some guys who have children who should have followed your advice...catastrophic emissions indeed! But that is for another thread!

On to the thread at hand then...

It is NO ONES, India's or otherwise, best interest until the AGW proponents produce some non-manipulated data that cooberates their shaky hypothesis. But they can't...because it's a fallacy.

Now there are other forms of pollition in those emmissions, that should be looked at, say arsenic, NO2, SO4 and other than contribute to things like acid rain, water degredation and the like, I am fine with working on those.

The GW debate is hilarious and sad at the same time. The science has been unraveling for months yet there are many who blindly cling to everything that they have been fed by the Gore crowd. These folks are sad because they want to hamstring the world with costly legislation that is based on scientific fraud.

One thing I've found as a way to root out truth is to follow the money. Sure we have giant corporations that would love to go on polluting as long as they show a profit. However how many look at the other side? Let me give you an example: Al Gore started, and is the majority shareholder, of the largest carbon offset corporation in the world. He is making millions by promoting his GW agenda. There are many others who seek to profit by feeding the GW hysteria.

I'm all for taking care of the earth but I'm completely opposed to sweeping legislation based on speculation.

OU Student Collecting Pictures of Snow in All 50 States
Posted: Feb 11, 2010 4:55 PM CST
Updated: Feb 12, 2010 8:17 AM CST

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- A University of Oklahoma student is taking an extra interest in this week's snow storms in the south and northeast and is working to document the events in a very unique way.

Patrick Marsh said it's likely by the end of the week snow will be on the ground in all 50 states.

From Ardmore all the way to Dallas and even in Louisiana, the south is snowed in. For many, it's a winter wonderland in places that rarely see such weather. But none of it comes close to the mess up north where two blizzards have blown through in a week.

Weather like this is why Marsh is studying to be a meteorologist. Even as the snow fell outside the National Weather Center in Norman, inside Marsh was tracking what could be a rare winter weather phenomenon.

Marsh, a student employee at the NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory in Norman, is currently trying to collect photos of snow on the ground in all 50 states.

"On Friday afternoon, I'm going to begin asking for photos of the snow," Marsh said. "Hopefully I'll get photos from all 50 states, and if I do, I'll put them into a Google Earth map and make a snow snapshot of America."

Marsh said Florida is the only state without snow on the ground at this point, but he said two to four inches of snow is forecasted on Friday in some parts of the state. There is currently even snow on some of the mountain tops in Hawaii.

If you or someone you know in the United States has snow on the ground where they are, tell them to take a pictures and send it to snow@forwarn.org.

You people do realize that it's called CLIMATE CHANGE, right? That the main component therein is that there are more extreme climactical changes...temperate and equatorial climates get hotter, and the northern and southern hemispheres get colder. It IS happening - right now. And we ARE the cause of it to at least a large degree.

Wow! It snows in all 50 states? That must directly defeat the science of climate change. What a moron. I saw that putz Hannity the other night going on about the snow in DC, and because of that, Global Warming couldn't possibly be true. Seems a bunch of sheep hang on his every word and it also looks like many of them post here. So ridiculously stupid are the naysayers.

Or, is it a "force"...?

Welll, when did you get your doctorate?

Give me a break. A huge, vast majority (i.e. 95% or more) of the scientific community thinks you're wrong.

No shit? So the fact that all but two Senators, almost all the house, the UN, and all the world's major sanctioned scientific governing bodies - as well as 70% of Americans and 80% of the rest of the world - still believes in man-caused global warming doesn't bother you? It is YOUR little clique that is in the vast minority, and you would truly have to be an idiot to think that all our post-industrialization polluting didn't have at least SOMETHING to do with climate change.

This has become amusing to the point of absurdity. It's like a circle jerk of ignorami collectively whacking over some William Crystal-authored diatribe while the Playboy bunnies party in the next room.

You aren't getting it...they are Politicians...they will say ANYTHING, so long as it gets them votes...and with the information coming out of climate gate...and the actual weather happenings...it's becoming evident that we have let people hookwink us.

The proof that it is nothing but politics was when the Democrats last week (after the blizzards) said global warming is now dead as an issue. IF they REALLY believed in global warming, then they would be pushing for it, regardless of what one storm did. But they don't. Because they know better.

Wow, you really are an ignoramus.

Did you actually read what you posted? The article is so off-kilter with its interpretation of a couple of ambiguous statements and some raw data it's ridiculous. This doesn't prove SHIT, and if you actually read the data, it is actually quite clear no manipulation of data could change the fact that humankind is responsible for climate change.

Way to quote Rush, too. That was a laugh riot. He is one of the most stupid and ignorant people who has ever lived.

Your "table" was not sourced, and is also quite misleading.

I provide links that use data from the U.S. Treasury to prove their points, and you say they are biased...yet you throw out random articles written by right-wing nutjobs and cite them as valid sources.

You are the most brainwashed poster on this forum this side of strangegrey.

Coleman's remarks strike me as jaded and biased. And, most of all, ignorant of scientific fact.

What about the rest of it??? Why are you ignoring everything else???

Good God man...the person who was RESPONSIBLE for all the Climate Change theories has recanted!

Doesn't that tell you something???

What about the fact that ONLY 37% of people now believe in AGW? (you amongst them I am sure)

The fact is, there is another 32% percent who believe that humankind has at least SOMEWHAT contributed to global warming. So, again, 70% of the country still either believes that we are fully responsible (which I do not) or at least partially to blame. Stop skewing those polls like they do on Fox, man.

EXACTLY! That IS the point! If we held manufacturers to the same emissions standards that they do in most of Europe, these issues would be somewhat more resolved. Thanks for proving my point!

Three Major Firms Pull Out of Climate Change Alliance

ConocoPhillips, BP America and Caterpillar pulled out of a leading alliance of businesses and environmental groups pushing for climate change legislation on Tuesday, citing complaints that the bills under consideration are unfair to American industry. The sudden pullout of three corporate giants from a leading alliance of businesses and environmental groups could be the death knell for climate change legislation languishing on Capitol Hill.
