Now I have a question. Where are these athletes getting these flags they all hold up when they win? (see avatar)... I'm probably not watching close enough, but as far as I can tell... they seem to be producing them from thin air... they cross the finish line, you never see a flag handoff, but in two seconds, they have one.

Random.

Maybe they pull it out of their ass like some people on this messageboard. :D Yourself excluded, of course, KimmyPoo.

You're heading the right way for a smack in da mouf today, too, Ken the Doodie.
Keep it up and I'm emailing all your passive flirting to your betrothed.

KenTheDoodie...classic. Now who's flirting with who?

I called you a doodie! I'd hardly call that flirting. I don't do that kind of thing around here.

p.s. - you just earned a permanent nickname, Ken The Doodie. . Go join Danilow and Crystal Light in the corner.

Finally, a performance that left no doubt that the best person won. No illegal touching, incorrect lane changes or any of the other errors that have marred this olympics.

Kim Yu-Na was simply perfection on ice last night.

That was the best women's program I have seen in a long time! They all did just beautifully! So sad that Korea can put THAT much pressure on such a young girl, but look what she accomplished! amazing for sure!

Wow, Kim Nu-Ya was outstanding! I don't think I ever saw such an effortless performance - both her short and long program were flawless. She not only has the athleticism & the grace, but she has that magical "it" star quality (the way she looks at the camera/audience in a kinda flirty way) that a lot of skaters only develop after they become pro (her being a celebrity already in her country must've helped, even 'tho she had the added pressure of not failing them.)

And, silver & bronze winners were amazing as well...how the Canadian skater had the courage to skate after the sudden death of her mother a few days before and still get a medal is unbelievable.
Looks like women's figure skating is no longer dominated by the Americans!

Yep. And he should have been, unfortunately. If a Korean did that, we would be saying he should. I think Apolo was desperate. He was losing his chance to move up, not much time left. Unfortunate he fell at the time he touched him. He still did great the whole Olympics, though. :D

That was bullshit! Ohno did NOT push Tremblay down.
He was skating way too low and and would have fallen anyway! HORSECRAP!!
He barely touched him.

Apolo cut in a little too close, though, but that's the nature of the sport.
