Ooops, before I go I remembered that I wanted to post at least one of the links where I mentioning on here that I moved.

I’m beginning to think I'm the only one who did okay financially. I'm not living like Trump by no means, but I'm also not eating Ramen noodles so that's been a really nice change for me. 2009 was a mixed emotions year. Careerwise it’s been fine, but a lot of other stuff happened along the way. I ended one relationship. Started a new relationship. Moved. Made friends. Made enemy....that’s singular (at least I think). Gained 10 pounds. Got engaged. Made peace with my dad. Had a lot of ear infection problems... what was up with that?

All-in-all it was an okay year for me but still I'm looking towards the future.

On a serious note: I wanna get back to the IP address thing. How does Matt (& whoever else) know that? Hell, I didn't even know my IP address until I got something in the mail from some company wanting to sell me online security & their brochure told me how to find the information. So how does a member of Melodicrock know MY IP address? This is not a frivolous question. This is something we all should be concerned about.

Yep. Try to create paranoia , to save your ass from your fake shit. If anything , YOU should know exactly how easy it is to find peoples IP and how useless and harmless it is to know anyone's IP.

Quit trying to turn this around on me like I did something unethical or illegal. Just answer the question & I'll never mention it again. A person's IP Address is not public information.

You're the one trying to turn things around. You're a computer guru and you know exactly how you can get peoples IP address. But explain to me in which harmful way can this be used against a person ?!

Easy, portscan your pc and when I get in, plant a couple nasty little buggie boos, er, uh, scheduled tasks. I can make it send a nasty email to your boss at 3am or simply tell it to format your hard drive. If I call military spec format you will never recover anything. Call it hacking, call it cracking. It's really nothing more than scanning for vulnerabilities. Most computers are gotten into because most people don't have the computer completely secured, even though they think they do. There is plenty of info to be gleaned from a computer, some potentially life damaging.

I can't count the number of PM's that were sent my first week here, warning me about certain posters here.....I have now decided after 4000+ posts...I will trust who I want to trust and post what I want to post.....the rest is BS in my opinion!

Oh I learned on my own....and well I am at a really good place at the moment...turns out most of the warnings came from the ones who should have been watched....if you know what I mean

Mine came from one very longtime poster and a newer one, but on here longer than me. I just ignored it. I take it all with a grain of salt. I just like to post about music and Journey and read the great entertaining threads on here. Jason aka Suzie entertains me many days.
