OK, so why is it that in all the Law and Order shows whenever they are interviewing someone about a crime, the person always goes about doing whatever it is they were doing when the detectives show up-either doing their job or housework or whatever, never just sitting there and talking to them. I just tend to think that if the police were questioning me about a murder, I would probably drop what I was doing and give them my full attention. Just something I have always wondered about.

I can't believe you noticed that, too. They keep walking when they're talking to them, like they don't have the time of day for them, and don't even look at them as they're answering. In real life, that would never happen. It annoys me b/c it's done that way every time. So predictable.

In the show's defense, a lot of stuff is realistic/well-researched.

Well, yes, the legal and forensic stuff, but not the medical stuff, that's for sure. Remember the episode where Stabler delivered a baby in a beach house and the mom had placenta previa and the baby came out screaming?? Yeah, that could NEVER happen. Both mama and baby would be dead if she delivered vaginally. And I know, it's just a TV show, but you KNOW there's some woman out there with placenta previa that will some day refuse a c-section because she saw on L&O that she could deliver....OK, I'll stop ranting now...cuz I really do like that show a lot!

Do you guys sit behind the counter and polish 40s of malt liquor off? That's what I'd do.

I do. I grab a bottle of Bailey's or Goose and stick it in the milk refer...about after an hour of Kutakentay slave like work, I slither back in there and down the entire bottle of Bailey's or a couple shots of Goose...after that, my mood changes drastically, for the better :) I all of a sudden become a real nice guy...until about 500A, then I start dragging ass. Ask Dan, I got drunker than snot with him watching the NBA Finals in Santa Monica and went to work hammered. My first customer owed my 40 bucks and I ended up giving him 40 bucks.

I'm not asleep. I had too much caffeine too late in the day. I'm multitasking-reading a book and checking in here after every few pages.

A quote by the only person in the group that I actually did have a conversation with in Florida for more than a couple minutes:

" I met Phyllis in Florida. She's ok. Seemed nice actually."
