Tommy solo album in 2011?

Postby Mr JY Roboto » Tue Jun 01, 2010 8:16 am

From the Styx Website...is this the bluegrass thing or something else?

Okay, time is ticking away. Will is sending me mixes from Marin County. He and Alan Hertz are mixing tracks from a solo album I'm working on that will be released next year. We've got about half of the songs finished so they're mixing them while I go play. What a nice thing to look forward to in the incoming emailbox.

Bluegrass thing.

I'm actually looking forward to this release, should be interesting. 7DZ still gets a lot of play time from me, be cool to hear some bluegrass from Tommy. Although if Blue Collar Man is on this album I will not be suprised.

I'm actually interested in this too (much more than yet more versions of Styx songs). A lot of folks say that Tommy is at his best on acoustic - I totally agree with that opinion. I'll be buying it.
