Nope.... its about the 17th row on the left side. Section 105 only has 12 rows and I'm 5 rows back in 207. The only seats left today are obstructed view. Froy, where will you be sitting? I would like to buy you a beer.

Where was this concert at? There were tornadoes in the area down near Kankakee and Peoria![]()

First off both Kansas and Foreigner were really good. Wow can Kelly from Foreigner sing!!! Now to the Main Event!
The skies looked like rain all evening and there were a few times when a light rain fell during the Kansas set. Just as Styx took the stage the wind picked up from calm to about 20 mph. They opened with Borrowed Time/Roboto/RTP/POE and then Grand Illusion. By this time it had started to rain again but not too bad….yet. The band sounded great they were really at the top of their game. I don’t know if he is trying to do this or not but Larry is sounding more and more like a young DDY. This is the best I have ever heard him sing Styx songs! Just as they started SMB the temperature dropped about 15 degrees in less than 10 seconds and the wind picked up to about 30 to 40 MPH. The crew ran out to try and control the large stacks of speakers that were hanging from the stage. All the light racks hanging from the stage were swaying and the large video screen behind the band was also rocking back and forth. The clouds were moving fast and low. Just as JY got to the guitar riff that picks up the tempo of the song, the fireworks at Navy Pier started to go off. They were shooting into the clouds and lit up the sky with bright flashes of red white and blue. As the band stood at the front of the stage shoulder to shoulder toward the end of the song their hair was blowing straight back as if they were in a wind tunnel. The crowd was really into it as there was a feeling of being in a music video. There were plastic rain ponchos flying through the air as the wind picked up even more. The band never once hesitated. They kept on playing like it was all part of the show. Finally after a few more songs the band was told they had to stop for their safety and the safety of the crowd. It was one of the most outrageous concert experiences I have ever had and one that I will not soon forget! As we made our way out of the city I was sitting in traffic on congress when I looked to my right to see the Auditorium Theater which was the seine of the only other Styx concert that I attended that did not go on as planned back in 1983.
On a side note it was funny to hear the people behind us talking about how the keyboard player’s voice still sounds the same after all these years……….I didn’t say a word!

We don't care about Gowan and how he now supposedly sounds like a young Dennis ,
Gimmie a break. I guess he is stepping up his impersonation act a notch, 2 fake bands and half of Kansas and your acting like a kid in a ice cream shop.. Get real. As far as the people behind you just some clueless STYX fans. Im sure they really meant this idiot sounds horrific like he has for the last 11 years,

what it really means is they loved him with not knowing he was a replacement. you just don't like him because he's not your crush dennis. if dennis had replaced him you would hate dennis just because he's not the one you knew before because you're afraid of change
