Like I said, you might try to learn something about context. I read it as using my mother's death to patronise me and score points. Jim read it the same way. The fact that Angel Nat told you it was inappropriate, when it is well known she and I cordially dislike each other, should have rung some big alarm bells that maybe you were being out of line here, intentionally or unintentionally. If someone was genuinely concerned about me, I'd assume they would pick up on that, or at least clarify appologetically that it was not their intention. Your argumentative responses just confirm the notion that you are using my mother's death to score points.

As for being a bitchy female, or a plain bitch; I don't agree. I'll freely admit to being a bitch at times, but I'm complex enough not to be a one trick pony. I'm also strong enough in my character to hold my hand up when I go over the line or when I make a mistake, and own up to my fuck ups. Not everyone here does that, not by a long shot, but you are the only one I can think of who not only won't admit when they are wrong, but who pontificates on how others should learn to do so.

I've got no interest in fighting with you, Phyllis. You aren't particularly entertaining to debate with; you can't keep a clear line of debate and your hypocrisy becomes distracting. I don't have enough emotion invested in you to fight something out, and if you annoy me enough, it's simple - I walk away from the keyboard; I have no need to always have the last word.

I do, however, derive great amusement from laughing at you, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'll bait you into more hypocrisy, knowing that you will be totally oblivious of the jokes going over your head at your expense, and of the laughing stock you make of yourself. Anyone else I'd back off on after a few rounds of fire, but to be honest, I've long since given up on any concern I might have for your feelings; you've proven your callousness too many times with too many people for me to feel concerned about the cruelty of laughing at you, or getting you to tie yourself into ever more outrageous knots.

I'm not so much banging on the pinheads as saying it was the complete clashing of different cultures, values and ideas. The addition of a more PG crowd here changed the dynamics of the place from being a Wild West setting where only the strong survived to more of a rigid PC atmosphere which definitely wasn't to everyone's taste, thus the mass migration out of here.

Even the official Journey Music site has suffered greatly as self appointed guardians over there look to keep any reference of Pre-2007 Journey at a safe distance as not to diminish the glow from their Idol, a stance which has undeniably killed the traffic on that site.

is there even a forum at journeymusic.com? When I go there it just seems like a collection of journey facebook pages. Maybe I'm just banned for life, whatever...just curious if there is even a 'real' forum there.

No forum, you just make a blog. If certain groups of fans don't care for what you posted, they flag it en masse and it disappears. Censorship dictated by how many zealots are in the offended camp. The site has regular spam blogs going every day also. They used to keep it cleaned up but now that there is no tour, it's not maintained very well, definitely not on a daily basis.

So, it's a Journey FaceBook with censors. Pretty lame.
