day 1 - no froy- what could he be up to???

Postby yogi » Sun Jun 13, 2010 1:59 am

in honor of our mia friend I have started this assembly line.

he has graced us for years. we have read his view points, we have argued with him, his love for all things gowan, and republican is unmatched, now he is gone. the day one questions are:

does froy deserve capitalizatioN?, and what could he be up tO?

Froy's a good guy. He's just a bit too passionate about the situation.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

He maybe a good guy as you say.But he is way over the top with it.He needs to know that DDY will never be back with the band.It is now Gowans time he wants to be in the band.

Never say never. Stranger things have happened. A lot of folks thought they would never see the reunion of the classic Styx line up and then it happened in '96. While it appears most likely not you never can tell when human beings are involved.

Over the top with it = just a bit too passionate about the situation.
Deyoung will probably never be back with Styx. Then again, he may. In the meantime, enjoy (or don't) what IS and quit pissing and moaning about what ISN'T.

you are all correct. i am done with this assembly line. boy did i have some good questions lined up for the future. at any rate this was in poor taste and its over. froy need to come back. we need his radical views.

i figured my poor taste wilbers(posts) could have flushed him out by now. i was wrong. he is alot tougher than i thought.

i guess spending years guarded by robotos will do that to ya.

i think he's an ass that simply sets around with cheetos flaking all over his chest sitting at his computer leaving controversial posts to get people all flared up to argue with him. hey but that's just my opinion.

I think it would be fine actually.
I think that most would like to see the band back together. However, many realize that won't happen, so they've moved on and it's okay to like both camps. Gowan, Phillips, and Todd are decent (Todd is amazing). The guys playing in Dennis' band are decent too.

I tell ya, if both camps keep doing the same old thing, I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore. Seriously, for Styx to have the talent they do and for them to be content rehashing old stuff... boggles the mind. I would bet that Dennis does nothing new either. Granted, he had the latest of the new stuff, but I bet after the dismal showing 100 Years made, that he's done with doing new stuff. Too bad on both accounts.

If they're going to get together, it's going to take a 3rd party to do it.

I believe that DDY made his last solo album because a person at the Canadian record label (that released OYFN) asked him to do it. If people keep doing that kind of thing I think we will see more. At this stage in the game I could see him doing one more album. Time will tell. Truthfully, I never expected to even see him put out another album in the first place.

Yeah, it was nice to hear new Dennis music. There were a couple of crappy songs there, but there were also some great ones.
