There will be lots of "he's better than Styx is now" in there (true or not).
But it's cool. He's our Froy. Like the drunken uncle that's fun to be around.
Have fun dude!

Back from a great show will tell all soon
Great to meet you LTVanish you seem to be a all around great guy.
All I can say right now is I had a nice talk with Dennis tonight he finally met Froy and he even asked me if I was Froy and I said yes, It was unbelievable to know that Dennis knew who Froy was.
I will tell more later
mrsromek wrote:It was my first time seeing Dennis live tonight, and yes he (and his band) ARE better than Styx. August is a hell of a singer and guitarist, and he nailed all the Shaw vocals flawlessly. I enjoyed the entire set and better yet, enjoyed seeing Dennis signing my Edge of the Century booklet and my Grand Illusion LP about an hour after show time!!!
Rip Rokken...if you ever read this thread...I saw the dude that signed our Winger stuff last night at Night Ranger. I still don't know who in the hell that guy was/is.
mrsromek wrote:Yeah, it's always a 50-50 at things like that. It's funny...I'd say about 75% of the people back there looked like friends of village people, etc. No one seemed to be walking out of there with anything signed, either. One of their roadies came out to the vans and I asked the guy about my chances. He said DDY was in a great mood tonight, so my chances were good. He said be patient and in those situations, I always am!
It was cool hanging with you too for the shows. We'll rock again soon. Give those discs a listen. It's too bad you're not as obsessed with signed stuff as I am...both Soul Asylum and Candlebox are super cool about signing stuff after the show. If you linger around the area after Sponge's set, tell them to get their asses in Chicago for a show!!!

Yeah it is a bummer you can not come to the Candlebox/Soul Asylum and Everclear/Sponge show in Hammond. getting things signed is a breeze as they park the bus right behind the stage and it is easy to get back there. I got my Live "Songs from Black Mountain" signed a couple of years ago and got to talk to the guys for a few mins.
