I like this set, very different than the last couple of tours. Very cool to see a lot from Fareinheit played. Man I wish I could see this tour.

Strong setlist. 'Till the End' is really underrated. One minor quibble - throw Pamela in there.

Only Joe-era song I'm really missing is "Only The Children."

Also would be fun to see them do "Goin' Home," since Joe co-wrote it (and did a version on one of his solo albums).

Nice set. Would have loved to see it, but alas it's not to be!

Realy surprised to see '99' in there though, given what Luke has said about it publicly in recent years - or did they just do an instrumental version??

Nice setlist with some surprises thrown in, which is very good!
Personally I'd love to see 'Only the children' and 'Goin home' in there as well but you can't have it all I guess ;-)
Roll on Bospop next sunday!!!

True, but they also have two backup singers on this tour that you can't really see in those videos, so that eliminates the need for tapes. They had the singers on the Mindfields tour, but went to tapes probably just to save on touring expenses. Glad to see it back to being all (or at least mostly) all real vocals.

Also, Joe sounds much, MUCH better than I anticipated. Now even more sad I'll never get to see this. :(

Lea sounds absolute fantastic, I love that song. Joseph sounds really good, very nice to hear real back ground vocals too!

Who the hell knows? Recently with Mickey Thomas, Bobby has been doing it completely live (see link below).
Even on the Amsterdam dvd, when Bobby was singing strong, TOTO chose to lip Africa. I don't get it. :?

Hmmmmmmm....Sounding pretty damn good to me. Surprised the band is releasing these live boots on their page? (or perhaps just a fan sending a link).

Like any replacement singer, Joe has his strengths and his shortcomings. YouTube clips show him choosing his high notes selectively while leaving others to the BG singers. That's to be expected. Just hope there's enough rest time between the DVD filming so we don't end up with another auto-tuned monstrosity.

He does, though he's more consistent overall here than Bobby was the last few times I saw him. Sometimes, I found Kimball could be spectacular live. Other times ... UGH!

Yeh, singing's a bitch - especially for guys Joe and Bobby's age. Never heard Luke have a truly awful nite, but I'm sure they exist.

I got tickets for their show in Copenhagen. Hopefully I'll make it.

Dunno about Joe though, got no stage presence at all. They don't look like much, but a Toto concerts usually kicks ass. The backup singer looks like a good lay too.

He may be timid compared to the Fahreinheit and Seventh One tours, but he's alot more engaged than Bobby. Seems he's finding his stride with each passing show. I know Luke says this is a one-off, but I hope this tour leads to bigger things. Not only was Joe a great singer, but probably the best co-writer Paich ever had. Let us know how Copenhagen goes.

There were some great, great, tunes written in the Joe era. I think Joe needs a good song-writing partner based on his solo material (which I definitely have enjoyed - especially the track 'I am alive'). It's really good to see these guys touring, even if it but be briefly . . .

Not sure when the dvd is being filmed, but this looks like it would've been good night. Every member is firing on all cylinders - Joe's voice seems to be aging backwards with each show. Wish there was a US leg of this tour.
