Guys, I am going to bed, and I will do better tomorrow with rested eyes, and better equipment. I want to redo some of these that are not making me happy. Perfectionist. I want them to resemble you better.

I am new to the fast portraits, I like taking my time and shooting for dead on accuracy. I want to be able to get a quick sketch and get the essence of a person. Thank you all for your kindness, and your tollerence to my slow efforts to getting everyone's pictures done in a timely manner.

I want to fix some of the poorer pictures. And I need some better photos of some people.

Cyndy, do you have a really good photo of yourself that you like? The one I did of you is appauling and I want to do another one, much better than the last one.

I want a picture of SteveW2.
I will do a better one of Deano.
I want to redo Dan's but I want a picture, Dan of the top of your hair. The picture I looked at cropped off your head.

Do you guys mind if I do this off and on for the next couple of days? I am having fun, and it will help me teach caracatures to my students in the fall.

I think there would be an outcry if you stopped! These are wonderful, and I feel honoured that I have one of me. You really are an inspiration, you know.

I will do better rested. Some of the pictures, like Lynn's Av........are almost too small to get the features right. I could barely make her eye shape out. It ended up lopsided in the eyes.

Larger photos help immensely. If anyone wants a picture done, PM a good photo of yourself that you like, and a hobby, or intrest, to add to the fun of the picture. As Scarlet O'Harra would say, "After all, ...........tommorow is Ah.......nother Day!" (Deano, the mispelling is intended for the southern drawl effect, do not adjust your dictionary, do not correct, ............same bat channel,...........same bat station..) Nora is on the list after the corrections.

Annie, I won't draw you if you don't want me to. But I would try and make it a nice picture......... if you ever change your mind. Thank you for your kind words, I know I can do better with a little more practice. I can draw people realisticly, if I take time. I can get dead on likeness, but caracatures are done very fast, and I want to show my students how to do it, that takes practice on my part, since speed has never been my strength.

This is practice for me.

I meant to say the drawings you did on the various posters really look like them in a cute sort of way -- of course, not life-like, that wouldn't be a caricature. Maybe I will pm you an old family photo (the last group picture we sat for). I think hubby & the kids will get a kick out of seeing a depiction of it.

Nope. Let me redo. I bought some colored pencils tonight because paint was taking too long and the drawings were coming out badly. I will add a seahorse, but this one will be prettier.

Paint is terrible. For me and my girlfriends 2 year anny, I drew her a comic in paint of our whole relationship til that point. It was downright hilarious but took me a good 3 months to complete with all the detail and wrist cramping from drawing with the mouse and all of that. Wish I would of saved the pics on a floppy from that.
