High Time? eh....

HOB Chicago

Horn Section and Filmed for DVD

Im sure some tweaks will be made to the set.
High Time is great never played live.
Back To Chicago may also be in the set.

Back to Chicago was never a favorite either.

I live there so it's a fav of mine.

Another Tidbit KC may sit in for back ground harmonies.

This will be Dennis DeYoung and the Big Band,

Big Band?
Froy you are starting to freak me out.Does that mean swing?

Remember the 89 Who tour? Big Who band horns back up singers .

Sounds good, but don't know about that tour.

I do quite like Brian Setzer (from Stray Cats) doing a big ass orchestra tour that was swinging like crazy.
But that is not Dennis or the Who.

Nobody is swinging anything. Just horns and backup singers

Worst Who tour - it was more like the Who experience than the who. The subsequent tours were MUCH better.

I didn't say anything to anyone about upcoming concerts or songs. This was Bugsy's opinion on your setlist. Did you see the comments I made after each song?

Er, no. Read my interview with him. He openly talks about not liking most of the WN era stuff, and I'm sure some of the early A&M stuff would fall into that category. Consider that Styx hasn't done it since, what, 1978? I think that pretty much says it right there. Maybe he doesn't HATE it, but he's certainly showing it no love, and hasn't for about 32 years.

And cut me a break on the gay ballads shit - like Tommy or Gowan have never written/sung a ballad. *cough* Yes I Can *cough* (which is arguably gayer than most of the songs Dennis has written that are ballads)

I don't know why you even talk to that tool - Born4Adventure. He's just on here to start trouble, never adds anything to a conversation.

Anyhoo, I'll have to find the interview I had with Dennis. I know I heard from someone that if he sang that song live there would be a few changes.

I'm looking forward to the next Chicago concert - hopefully the kids won't have anything going on at the same time. I had a blast at the last one we went together, many moons ago.

LOL, yes I admit it, I'm a sig stealer, just had to make a few changes that made more sense - LOL We should have a Packer/Bears bet this year for both games.

This would be a fun setlist to go see for the die-hard fan. But it sure doesn't seem like something he would release on DVD. About 3 people from this board would buy it. The other 12 would download the torrent.
