This sounds like a tribute band to me. The synth parts are cheesy, the harmonies are still week. They really should have left this stuff as it was. This may cause them more grief then praise. Although the bathwater drinkers will think this is the best thing since sliced bread.

The worst decision ever from these goofs. All to sell a 30 dollar cd.

On 2nd thought, I'll say what's on my mind. Re-recording Dennis' songs with someone else singing them is an insult to the history of this once great band. Period. And I would say the exact same thing if Dennis' new band re-recorded some of Tommy's songs. Neither band should go there. Tommy and JY need to make an album of all new material. And if they insist on re-recording old songs they need to leave Dennis material out of it.

Of course but when you are dealing with children filled with revenge all bets are off.
The Legacy of STYX has been destroyed by Gowan Shaw Young Pannazzo and Brusco.
All for the love of money.

yep and this never hurt them right?

BTW, If I remember correctly you stated that almost committed suicide when seeing the KWH tour. Shouldn't you be getting on with it?

Beyond everett and born4 (same person btw) and babyblue (maybe also same person) opinions, this really is awful...it truly is very sad. The first half of the song, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I wonder went on in the studio during this. After they recorded it, played it back, did they really think to themselves "This is great. Let's include it on the album" ? Clearly, Tommy and JY are back on drugs, because that could be the only reason that explains why they would want to put this out on a record of any sort. I agree the musicianship is fine and the harmonies are better than the grand Illusion's, but the first 3 minutes of the song are just pathetically excruciating. Guys, here is a suggestion for you...maybe next time don't recreate your signature song without your signature vocalist. I don't care what dollars you see in your eyes. Because this makes a mockery of the entire concept.

As froy said, how sad. It really is. If I didn't know how they got themselves into this position, I would kind of feel sorry for these guys.

I agree Toph, how could they, as a a collection, have listened to the first couple of minutes, and said "Man, that sounds great! Nice job Larry!" Good Lord.

They can because the person that had a clue on what quality production is was fired. Real smart move guys!

In that first minute it looks like Tommy is going to regurgitate in that mask.Twice as a matter of fact.

I feel for TS

No need to. I am sure he was "self medicated" enough that he couldn't remember what happened after it was over.

Finally brought myself to listen to the youtube. I liken it to a wreck...didn't want to look but just couldn't help it. Still not going to buy it and the listen confirmed why.

Review...awful...period. Only good thing is hearing Todd on drums. He kicks ass.

Again, they f'ed up bad on this entire Regurgitation concept.
