Sheesh, You have to read her FB again, she said a man threw his CANE at Tommy when he was singing "High Enough". Tommy got pissed, saying a few things at him - as would anyone getting something thrown at them. Security went into the pit area and found the item, the guy didn't know it snuck into the section trying to find it, he went back to his area and then threw a few more things at him (Tommy). Security came and escorted him out and then the VIP applaused.

Definitely not a cool move. No one deserves that. I've seen a few videos from this Rush tour where Alex is asking the fans near him to stop shenanigans. It's pretty amazing ...

Maybe the guy was just trying to get Tommy to sign his cane? Maybe he though Tommy may need the cane after the show, after all he's getting up there!

I am not that well versed in the subject but I am sure I have read in some very reliable music magazines that as a rule bands go by the following absolutes:

Its time to get out when 3 or more of the following things happen to your group:

1. No music labels want you
2. No one wants new music from you
3. You cant sell out a Burger King, Jack In The Box, McDonalds, Wendys or Arbys lobby without bring in another rock group.
4. Every 'new' release constitutes some sort of greatest hits package redone
5. Fans start throwing hearing aids, prosthetics, or canes at you.


I never thought I would utter these words or think these thoughts but Froy may be right.
