I don't remember my first. I remember going to see Billy Joel eons ago... I actually did go to see Air Supply back in their heyday.

The ones I remember - and I don't remember the order:

Savatage, Testament, Nuclear Assault - Tripple Bill - Part of the Hall of the Mountain King tour
Kansas - DAR Constitution Hall, DC (In The Spirit Of Things Tour)
Helloween, Anthrax
Savatage, Trouble (I was big into Savatage in the 80's and early 90's)

I had tickets to go with my brothers and sister to see Styx on the Paradise Theatre tour in Munich, Germany. But I was 8 years old and my mother would not let me go.

High octane baby.
Danish TV was filming the show, and it was released on DVD a few years ago.
Quite thrilling that I have my first show to watch at my leisure.
Black and white mind you.

man, I NEVER got Neil Diamond...
Did like the songs he penned for The Monkees, but Neil always seemed like something for your parents.

Yep he was something for my Mother actually so was Seger and Fogerty.
Saw my first Neil show in 77 the place went nuts and was hooked ever since,

That's cool I guess. Saw my first McCartney show when I was 13 in the KINGDOME.
I was hooked before that, but you know...

My first show--- ELO New World Record Tour simply amazing
Steve Hillage opened the show and was as boring as hell

ELO would be cool. Love Jeff Lynne.
Won't even go into what my first concert experience was.
Let me just say that the tickets were free and my mom
thought it would be cool for my sister and I.

(shaking my head)

I'm a huge Jeff Lynn fan. Love ELO, and Jeff Lynn's Armchair Theater disc. And how 'bout those Traveling Wilburys?

It can't be any worse than my first concert, which was Maynard Ferguson, the trumpet player, playing at a college auditorium. I was just starting trumpet myself at the time and I thought he was great, but looking back now I kinda cringe. He played rocked-up horn versions of things like 'Theme from Rocky.' Really very silly in retrospect. And talk about your hearing being blown, go to a show where a guy plays a freaking trumpet into a mic through a PA all night as the lead instrument. Ouch!
