Postby Zan » Sat Sep 18, 2010 5:24 am

If anyone is in the Jersey/NY area and wants to go,Please email me at styxzan70@aol.com soon-like. I'll be flying out ion a couple hours and have 2 extra tickets if anyone's interested.

He's doing 3 full-length Beatles albums:

Help
Rubber Soul
Let it Be

This is note-for-note show like he does every year.

Nice to see that he is doing the Help album, it is my favorite Beatles album, and I think it gets overlooked as one of the best pop albums of all time.

Darn Tootin. I LOVE the HELP! album. The tunes from the movie rule. The other stuff's good too, but side one is a masterpiece.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Honestly? It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
I'd love to elaborate, but even after 2 days, I haven't been able to put the right words together to adequately describe how flipping awesome it was.
It was good enough to make me completely depressed about the caliber of musicians I have to work with in S. Florida. Everyone was 'A' game, and it was immaculate. Glen did this performance of "I've Got a Feeling" that practically blew the roof off, and Bob Burger is just...ridiculous.

That's all I have to say. Other than, next year...GO.

THAT is the ridiculously talented Bob Burger, who has worked closely with Glen since the dawn of time, just about. Here is one of my favs from Saturday featuring Bob:

Ha! Cool that they put the "Hold It" deal in from Let it Be. Pretty cool rendition.

I wish I could get me some more Glen Burtnik. He's got some serious mad skills. Living in Nashville affords me very few opportunities. :(

They are pretty anal about even the slightest detail, even the mistakes.
