Well, Vol. I implied Vol II. I didn't think it implied III, IV, and possibly V.

LOL. So, J.Y. thinks they are some of the best musicians out there? That may very well be, but who wrote the majority of the music they are so good at playing? Are they writing great songs? No, they are good at playing songs that someone else wrote.. What are they putting out there today?? Live versions and remakes of someone elses creativity; proud moment! Imagine how full of himself J.Y. would be if they actually could write a hit song. It's a good damn thing they can't. They will never erase DDY.

Didn't JY re-master (or remix, whatever) Roboto for inclusion on Band Hero? The very song off the very album that he credits as the biggest reason they couldn't all continue as a unit. He really is a piece of work. He's the reason, and it's his history that could be erased with the least impact. While I think he made "some" important contributions over the years, it's like adding salt to the ocean.

Well, we know they won't re-record any of the songs that were credited to DDY.

I do think this is ashame.

They should put their energy into new material and leave the past alone.

If they were going to stay with the Regeneration theme, I thin they would have been better suited to place the originals on the CD along with current versions of the live material and show how they hav evololved the songs.

Wiping Dennis from the history is just wrong.

JY wouldn't have to do anything. Just give whoever the multis and let them take what they need and make their own mix. Although I don't own Band Hero or a place to even play it, it is apparently the real multis gthat were used for Roboto since it apparently has DDY's voice.

BTW, it's also possible they used the VW re-record, too.

Well, this puts the nail in the coffin as far as them getting a big money deal from Wal-mart for a reworked Greatest Hits Package. If you're not getting seven dollars a disc from a big box store exclusive, what's the point?

2 things that stick out....

Regurgitation Vol 2 will include Blue Collar Man, Renegade, Snowblind, and Miss America - that should sound fresh since they don't ever play those at all...

Did actually use Styx in the same sentences as the following - U2, Bon Jovi, and even Def Leppard....like they are peers.....

Give the guy credit, yes, he is an asshole, but at least he is an ARROGANT ASSHOLE.

That's part of JY's problem, he thinks his contributions to the band's success were more then they were. Secondly, I think he wished he had more presence (to the public) in the band then he did. Ask the average person that knows the band to name it's members and I bet you his name is just one they will not remember. As far as more of these re-records just goes to show you how much they are stuck in their past and have no ambition for creating substantial new material. Except for constant touring, playing the same old shit 99% of the time they are dead. I don't think this ride is going to go on for much longer. But, thats just my opinion.
