Froy's trying to make a statement about the DDY songs. Think about it.
SuiteMadameBlue wrote:OMG............ really everyone?
When I interviewed Dennis and JY at separate times they BOTH said that MAJORITY if not ALL of the Styx songs were written together on the Grand Illusion album. As for the other albums, I'll have to find the sources to back me up before I say anything about those. We all know about the later albums.
There are only a few "true" Styx fans that understand this on here, seriously.

Even if Member A or Member B were listed as the sole songwriter, everyone contributed. Most bands worked that way at one point or another. Pieces of Eight was largely written the same way.
It's clear on Cornerstone everyone went away and did their own thing.

WHY??? Seriously, WHY??? Why can't you wait to hear someone who had absolutely NOTHING to do with those songs sing them?
Especially when the person who actually wrote and sang them has one of the greatest voices in rock history.
I'm just curious as to what you are thinking.
I guess I shouldn't post anything sarcastic.cittadeeno23 wrote:Mr. JY Roboto Said: "I can't wait to hear Gowan sing those songs!!!!!!!!"
