I was only kidding, I wasn't there - I wish I was. My parents didn't take me to concerts until later, which is a bummer.

Yes, I did catch MANY free shows that were featured at Summerfest, especially when bands were just starting out, before they made it big. I wish I remembered ALL the bands that I saw throughout the years there.

I'm looking for more early footage of Styx that is out there. A few years ago I had a "lead" on old tapes that were never transferred yet. Wish I knew exactly what they were.

I was just kidding too, mostly. I figured you might not have been at this particular show, Suite, but might've caught them a bit later in a Summerfest in the 70s or something. But I guess it wasn't until 1991 that you actually finally had the pleasure.

Ha! I should have known! But then, it would not have surprised me to find out that 5-year old Suite had found a way to get to that concert in the park...maybe not to share in the bongs and brews, but definitely the music!
