Your not the only one here that has happened to. I sent someone a disc they were looking for and really didn't expect anything in return. However, they offered something so I agreed. Always got promised it was being sent but nothing ever came. It's a shame that people can't follow through on simple stuff.

I hope it wasn't me, I think I've been caught up on sending out cds/dvds for a few years now. I just owe pictures and picture disks, I'm only 7 years behind on some of those (right Bugsy??)

I only send out cds/dvds to those that I met in person or to people that have been on the boards for quite a while. I've sent out cds a few years back and a few people couldn't even say "thank you". I don't expect anything in return, but a "thank you" would be nice. I had fun surprising people on here with a few cd's, it was fun and they appreciated it (even if they didn't like the song) :)

I won't take anyone backstage to any concerts anymore either if I have a chance to go back, the last few times people either made an ass out of themselves or didn't appreciate anything, idiots. I try to go out of my way for people and it's not worth it anymore. I'm working on surprising my kids to meet Shinedown next month, at least they'll appreciate it :)

Funny I get stuff sent all the time and I send stuff all the time without backlash.
I even sent Eve a cd not to long ago. Yogi stabbed me in the back that's why he got nothing,

Yogi didn't stab you in the back during that time frame when he sent you the cd's. Maybe a few years later. Yogi's a good guy.

And Froy how did I EVER stab you in the back?? I know how, I stabbed you in the back by supporting the current rendition of Styx. I even stated that I liked Cyclorama alot. I have seen the current rendition of Styx in concert NUMEROUS times. I like Gowans voice. These are all the ways I have stabbed Froy. Please list the others.

Froy now wants mind control.

You ought to go by the name Dr. Froy Rightous

P.S. Suite, Thank you for getting me backstage to meet Dennis, Glen and the rest of DDY's band. Also thank you for all the things that you have sent me over the years. I have always kind of thought of you as a mother.

Please Mom take me backstage to meet Shinedown!!! I promise I will appreciate it!!!!!

P.S.S. I support DDY too!!

Maybe tomorrow I'll see one with GO-WAN-GO.

Good luck Yogi.

Well, now, Suite, you have done me many, MANY favors! As to sending, not sending, keeping up with the CD's/DVD's you have the right friend in me since I remember NOTHING anymore.

What I find funny (and fun) is so much of the "rarer than rare" footage of Classic Styx is all up on YouTube now, in decent quality. Stuff I was so anxious to get a few years back ... right there on my computer screen.

I know a few of us (right Suite?) possess some really rare stuff, though, mostly Dennis-related in my case, that I truly enjoy having.

Yogi, you thanked me quite a few times and I appreciate that :) I'm SO happy how everything turned out at the Rice Lake show, it was great to have a private pre-show (soundcheck), never saw that one coming. Do you still have your cell phone? I wish I took a picture of DDY signing it, the look on his face was priceless. LOL

OMG, you seriously don't think of me like a Mom, do you?? I'm only 29!! (LOL)

I love surprising people, it makes my day! One of the best surprises was when my youngest kid was 7 and he ended up on the In Flames tour bus. He'll never forget that. Also my sons met James LoMenzo when he was with Megadeth. He talked quite a while to them. James was shocked that my kids knew the band White Lion and some of the songs they sang. (He was with White Lion too and now with Lynch Mob). I have that on video, just priceless.

If you see Shinedown again, let me know. It's one of our favorite bands, the whole family enjoys their music, even my daughter - which is shocking.

Bugsy, YOU have done tons for me too and I appreciate it. You've sent me quite a few items, in which I will treasure. I'm actually behind collecting items for the past 2 years, probably because everything is up on YouTube, you're right.

You're right, only a few of us on here have some rare DDY/Styx stuff that I know of. Only 4 people have the DDY and JY interview that I did. That's going to be up on YouTube soon. I think I'm only 1 of 2 people that have a Mr. Roboto Pez, handmade but so cool!

I always feel bad for Ricky. I feel that he has so much more potential in the music industry instead of touring so much, IMO.

I still have the phone but DDY's autograph has faded on it.

Shinedown is a TRULY awesome band. I still cant believe how good their Sound Of Madness album is. One of the best albums EVER!!!

They were GREAT live. I wonder how seeing them doing an acoustic concert will be. Boy do you need the vocals for that. That band has the chops. Ive read that their entire tour will be an acoustic tour.

I hope that you enjoy the show. If they would come anywhere near Shreveport, Tyler, Dallas, or Houston I would be there.
My entire family likes them too. Second Chance & Crow & Butterfly are my daughters favorites. My son loves Sound Of Madness. My wife like me loves the entire CD. Their other 2 CD's are decent also.

Agree about Ricky. He is a very good musician and has gone stale in Styx.

I think Glen stated something like it's the most music to ever come out of a set of speakers. 'All Thats Yet To Come' is SOOOO Killer. The Muse has bagpipes.

What an AWESOME CD!!!!

I own every Glen CD, including Slaves Of New Brunswick - 'Im losing my hair'- What a GREAT GREAT musician!!

Damn I forgot how GOOD The Muse is. Way to include the names of all your albums in one awesome song!!! Glen is Killer!!

Thats EXACTLY what they did only with an established name(Styx). They stated that on numerous occasions. Thats why they were doing all touring when they first went out without Dennis.

Then, when lightening didnt strike twice as they all thought it would(Brave New World & Cyclorama) and they couldnt get new music played they all just figured ' hey were making excellent coin playing as an oldies band lets just keep going'

and they have kept going............. and going...................and going ......... and going.......................

P.S. They may be idiots, but they are idiots with talent & decent bank accounts

You seriously don't have any Triumph? What the hell's wrong with you?

I LOVE the song "All Over Town" by April Wine, I play that song quite often! And of course Loverboy tunes too :)
