I'm betting that this is quite a wake-up call for Tommy and JY.

Were these available all along or just released today? This is common when radio station, promoter and the band turn in unused tickets for sale.

I have no dog in this fight, just an observation and question.

+1

Very common practice to hold some tickets and release them within a few days - or even day of - an event. I have a feeling this is much ado about nothing.

Front Row available day of means there's a problem.
The tickets are there for the taking if you wanna waste 120 bucks

Great point, but with any demand they would have been scooped up within an hour or two.

Froy i'm guessing you didn't check if it's REALLY front row. Some venues use double letters so AA could not exactly be front row. A would be the real front row. Just sayin.

For the first time in your life, you're right. They're the first row of the upper deck orchestral seating. AAA is the first row of the pit. But this might be even sadder for Styx because these have probably been on sale all along.

I pulled a front row center ticket for Journey and Heart in Louisville in August 2009 five days before the show, and there were still 16,000+ people there. It just so happened I was waiting to find good seats and happened to be on Ticketmaster when the promoter/band released the tickets they were holding. In my opinion, getting a front row seat the week of or day of the show isn't an indication of ticket sales. At all.
