One of my fondest concert memories was when Dennis DeYoung came out at a Night Ranger concert in Chicago and sang a few songs. I remember after he performed by best friend (who hates Journey, Foreigner and Styx :x   ) turned to me and said "I have no idea who that guy was, but he was one cool motherfucker and, man, can he sing!!!"

Well where do i start the sound, the lighting, the video board this tour should've been done years ago. I agree with lt. vanish that castle walls is not for larry. He did do a decent job but this song was not for him. FYI froy the crowd was into it ALL night. The only downer of the night was lord of the rings you can tell jy really didn't want to do that one AT ALL. Other than that this is the best styx show i have seen EVER. Like i said before put whatever petty hatred you have for this lineup or gowan aside and go see this show. You'll definitely be glad you didn't pass it up.

That's it? That's your review?

As for the sound, lighting and video board, don't forget that there is so much more technology now than before. More "effects" and sounds are getting better and better over the years.

Pretty cool intro and light show!! I've never heard this Gowan live,
his voice is not near as big and rich as DDY, but not a bad job!! I'm afraid
when I saw the rummaging through the lp's and then
the big 'ol 1978 scroll across the screen, it made me a bit homesick!!

I wish I could have gone. I was out of town this weekend. I may still try to see a show before the tour ends. A few of my friends went in Waukegan and said it was a great show.
