Seriously, to buy tickets just to do that is ridiculous and way immature. If you can't get over it, don't buy tickets and stay home. By the way, the DDY shout was basically to say who the "Great philosopher" was that Gowan was talking about. Not like the guy was saying "Bring out Dennis". He was answering Gowan's question.

Pretty decent rendition. I can remember when Styx used to do this live, JY would sing that high "I'm OKAY>>>>>" line with Dennis. I don't think JY could hit that note now.

I'm with St. John- it's a good performance.

SMB, I'm interested in your opinion of the performance. I'm as critical of the guy as anyone, but I just can't find anything "terrible" about that performance.

Okay, I listened a few times. I FINALLY figured out that Gowan reminds me of one of the Bay City Rollers, forgot which one, but when he was talking going into the song and parts of the song, that kind of bothers me and took me away from the vocals. Also later in the song did he forget the words and did a few "nana's" ?

Anyway, it was okay, yes okay in my opinion. Obviously I prefer Dennis' live version especially at the House of Blues, of course I'm a DDY fan. I do prefer Bobby's vocals (from the Styx tribute band Light Up) over Gowans, that's just my opinion.

Even though this wasn't taped "professionally", I like this version better, not so much the backing vocals (LOL) but the overall music.......

I shoulda got the one with HD video on it, but I just thought "What would I use it for?" . If it's HD, I'd expect people to be filming movies and stuff.
