We were sharing a babysitter with some friends of ours who also were going to the concert, we were on our way to Ft.Worth(we were going to spend the night) when the babysitter called and said that they had changed the weather forcast. There was a 40% chance of snow by 2am and a 90% by 9am. We were on the other side of Tyler when she called(almost to Canton) it was 8pm so with all the kids at home freaking out about the snow and we couldnt risk it so we turned around and drove home.

For those of you who went I hope you had a GREAT time. I am TRULY sorry that we missed it.

It is now 7:30 am - NO snow but they now say we have a 100% chance of snow by noon today.

I would also like to thank Froy for coming all this way to babysit. We hope that we payed you enough. My daughter meant nothing by the comment 'she didnt know people like you still existed'. Also Froy, we moved our dog for your safety. My sons comment of we didnt trust you around our dog that it was too much of a temptation was incorrect. He misunderstood what we had said. He is young so please cut him so slack. Thanks again brother!!

I am sorry you missed a great show Yogi. But you have to be safe because of the kids.As for fred.   Good one

yogi- i am sorry you missed it. we had a great time. however, billy bob's is NOT a good venue to see a show. the seating is awkward (long picnic tables!) stage is small, and lots of obstructed views. the sound wasn't loud enough, and a bit muddy. i'm not sure why they play BBs. there certainly are better venues. (dallas HOB!) they played the same set as houston- which was awesome! i am very glad i got to see this show, since it will be a while until they do the Grand/8 shows. (casey said in 2012) we had some snow here- started around 11:30.

It's incredibly foolish to allow the weather forecast to have an influence on anything. Besides, just how much snow is there in Texas? A few inches?

I agree. Heck we were 1.5 hours into our trip to Ft. Worth when the babysitter(Froy) called. If it wasnt for 5 young children screaming and worrying about icy roads and when we would get back we would have gone.

It was an easy decision Styx VS My Kids. If it happened 1,000 times I would turn around 1,000 times.

Froy was great with the kids and we will use him again!

Hmm, BB I am beginning to think that your use of emoticons is based on "Rock Code" from KWH. I have a hard time decoding them! :D  :P 8)
