Ummm....while you can point to the occasional game in which there are some mind-boggling blown calls that can affect the outcome of a game, 99.7% of the games in the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB are NOT affected by the zebras.

So you're saying that while it's a well-known fact that LeBron was allowed 3 or 4 steps with the ball for years, and got away with tons of fouls - as is the case with most great players - that somehow the NBA has conspired repeatedly over the past decades to only favor the Celtics and Lakers? Even though they consistently rank towards the middle of the pack in fouls called against?

You, sir, are a world-class idiot.

Now, I should mention that Dean, who is by all accounts a soccer addict, has insisted the Columbus (OH) Crew's 2006 Major League Soccer championship be added to Cleveland's tally due to its proximity to the Mistake on the Lake. Therefore, I will offer that Boston has 18 championships since 1964, and Cleveland one.

The Cleveland Crunch soccer team won the NPSL championship in 1994.

NOW you're talking.

I believe the New England Tea Men won the NASL title in the mid-70's.

Are you serious? The Steelers had more non-calls go against them this year than any team I've ever seen. Between Big Ben getting sucker-punched, body-slammed, late-hit, and speared, you had violent infractions against Harrison all year that were simply ignored.

Way off on that one, bud.

Dude...get a fucking grip. Listen, your pride in your hometown is admirable. Everyone should love where they're from, but to come in here and take on the tradition of Boston when you're from fucking Cleveland is mind-numbing. I promise you that every sports team in Cleveland combined will never even catch up to the Celtics in titles, let alone the three other Boston teams! This is the 30th time over the past couple of years I've seen you brag about a fucking soccer championship. That, my friend, should tell you all you need to know about the state of Cleveland sports. People in Boston don't even know what the fuck a soccer ball looks like!

By the way, I don't even disagree with your point that Garnett's "move" was an absolute cheap shot and Garnett simply can't do that shit. That said, to take that one incident and actually come onto a message board and say that guys in Boston are constantly punching opposing players in their nutsack is fucking RIDICULOUS. I've been an avid sports fan for most of my 40 years, and I can assure you that the incident the other night is the one and only time I've ever seen it happen. That doesn't make it right, but to suggest that teams or players in Boston have a history of this makes you look like the complete fucking moron that you've always been. There are some GREAT, GREAT, GREAT sports fans on this board, but you're not one of them, and it has nothing to do with the fact that you're from Cleveland. Thank god Matt is also from Cleveland, or I would begin to think the drinking water supply had chemicals causing you to be In Fucking Sane!

I lived in Boston for 20 years asshat. I followed Boston Sports since I was a kid because my mom's family is from there...

You just sound like a sorry Cleveland sports fan who's looking to bitch about others success.

Ya, Bill is the man. He put up with four of the drunkest people I've ever seen in Dan, his friend Wayne, my former friend Colin, and myself. We were out of control.

I'm relatively happy in Cleveland. My only gripe other than sports misery (and I wouldn't be able to follow another team no matter where I moved) is the weather, and bigger cities like Chicago, NYC, Boston etc. still have that nonsense too. I get depressed as fuck this time of year, and being in a bigger snow bowl wouldn't change that at all. If you are a professional making decent money, you can really have a nice life in Cleveland. I already have some pretty nice digs and I'm only a couple years out of college because my dollar simply goes farther here.

Jealousy and envy seems to permeate from your very being....not very becoming. SCOREBOARD!

The refs never want to call a penalty on the Steelers either, despite the fact that they always cheap-shot other teams players.

Have you been sleeping this whole 2010 NFL football season? Over a span of 4 straight games at one point have the Steelers been called for WELL over 100 yards in penalties! Does James Harrison ring a bell? The guy who does nothing but form tackle but has been called 20 times for hitting the quarterback, fined 15 yards and even fined 100,000$ because of it? Yeah, keep preaching Browns fan. (I met J/S too in Cleveland, I thought he was pretty damn cool myself!)

Do you remember a couple of years ago when Ray Allen intentionally elbowed Anderson Varejao right in the groin? All of the national media were saying that it was a total punk cheap-shot move.

Do you remember last season when Glen Davis jammed Shaq's thumb and then twisted on it to injure it more? The initial jamming of the thumb was probably an accident? But a minute later the cameras zoomed in on Davis grabbing and twisting O'Neal's already injured thumb. Davis was targeting the injury that he had already caused, to make the injury worse.
As a result, O'Neal missed something like the last 8 weeks of the regular season last season for the Cavs, and was then rusty in the playoffs.

And I know of other cheap-shot moves in the last few seasons that Garnett , Allen and Davis have done against the Cavs alone, but I can't remember exactly what they were for certain. I seem to remember one of the Celtics players close-lining LeBron James really hard.

Funny thing is that neither Ray Allen or Kevin Garnett had a reputation as being dirty players when they were with their old teams. But as soon as they joined the Celtics they started pulling a lot of dirty shit in games. Hell, last year they chose to bring in Rasheed Wallace, one of the dirties players of the last 20 years. Character and class means nothing to the Celtics.

I've never once seen/heard anyone ever say that Patriots fans are the best in the NFL. (Or even some of the best)
I've never heard anyone say that Red Sox fans are the best fans in MLB. I've never heard anyone say that Celtics fans are the best in the NBA.

But I do know that there have been countless lists that have named Browns fans as being the best and most loyal fans in the NFL.

And I saw a list a few years back that named Indians fans as the second best fans in Baseball, only behind St. Louis Cardinals fans.

And I have never "bragged" about the Crunch winning that Championship. This was probably only the third or fourth time at most that I've mentioned it. I'm like an encyclopedia when it comes to the Browns, Indians and Cavs. But I had to look up what year it was that the Crunch won that Championship, because I barely care about that. I only mention it because I know that it's inaccurate to say that 1964 was the last time that a Cleveland team won a professional team Championship. and in this case, Seven Wishes had brought up soccer.

Oh, and speaking of lists. Just today I saw a news report about a list that just came out naming the most vain cities in America. Boston ranked #2 on the list. I constantly come across people on the internet talking about how "everyone" in Boston is an arrogant snob. I've even seen some Bostonians say that their surrounded by nothing but arrogant snobs. On the other hand, when ever people from outside of Cleveland are asked how they like Cleveland, they say that Clevelanders are so friendly.

Because their not. The best fans in the NFL in no particular order would be Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Seattle(loud fuckers) New Orleans Washington and Philly.

I've never heard anyone say that Red Sox fans are the best fans in MLB.

As much as i hate the Red Sox, they are everywhere! Hell, they are called Red Sox Nation for God's sake!

Browns fans are ok, but Bill, just because the eastern endzone has a bunch of dudes who wear dog masks and throw biscuits at the opposing QB does not make them good fans.

And I saw a list a few years back that named Indians fans as the second best fans in Baseball, only behind St. Louis Cardinals fans.

You have got to be kidding?! The Tribe's fans are so good, they draw 4,500 per game after May 1st.

Honestly, Dean, look it up. There have been countless lists made by sports magazines and websites that have named Browns fans as the best in the NFL. Most of those lists usually ranked Packers fans as the second best. I remember back when Mike Ditka was coaching the Bears that he named Browns fans as the best fans in the NFL.

Do you know that in the mid to late 90's the Cleveland Indians set the all time MLB record for the most consecutive sellouts, with 455 straight sellouts? Your thinking back to the 80's when the Indians regularly finished near the back of the division record wise each year, and were playing in the old outdated Municipal Stadium.

I also said that I don't really care much for soccer either.

I've never heard anyone say that Celtics fans are the best in the NBA.

They too, are everywhere.

But I do know that there have been countless lists that have named Browns fans as being the best and most loyal fans in the NFL.

Dude, I think(hope), 7 Wishes was being sarcastic with his crunch smack. NO ONE cares about soccer. It's worse than the WNBA!
