The biggest surprise for me was "Renegade" - although it only hit #16, it must have stayed on the charts a LONG time to be able to have been one of the top 100 for the year. Kudos to them on that. Give Tommy credit for 2 of the band's biggest hits.
Despite its comparably low chart peaking, I think we can include Renegade as one of Styx's biggest hits. It certainly has stood the test of time (of course the current band playing it to death has something to do with that too).
I think this list provides a good glimpse as to really what the biggest hits of Styx were. It is the list that the person who is now between 35-50 knows as the biggest hits of Styx. Some have stood the test of time longer, but I doubt you find anyone that came of age in the late 1970s and 1980s that doesn't know these 10 songs.
Lady
Come Sail Away
Renegade
Babe
Best Of Times
Too Much Time On My Hands
Mr. Roboto
Don't Let It End
Desert Moon (DDY)
Show Me The Way
With Dennis solo you hear all 10 of these, with Styx you get 4. Say what you want about Dennis, but he at least knows what his biggest songs are/were.
